I've seen a lot of Pacolab gear in the Carryology group and the designs are incredibly impressive. I echo one of the other commenters about non-Instagram user frustrations in terms of ordering but also appreciate the small business nature of it. I've had so many backpacks over the years and personally always go back to a GORUCK GR1 - specifically a 26L. It has constantly been my tried and true, even with the non-water bottle pocket woes (Jason McCarthy, if you're watching this, please take note lol). I am at least super happy with the QAP addition. That said, the design of this pack is incredibly and ridiculously well thought out and super detail oriented. I'll most likely never be able to own let alone see one in person but man, it sure looks badass! Also love the little subtle Ukrainian flag tab on the interior. Cool touch. Enjoy!
As much as I dig the small Samurai bag the backpack is not for me, but I will say that it is a very interesting design for a full sized backpack. I have got to get that Samurai bag. Thanks for another great review.
Thank you for the video, information and review! I love Pacolab gear... I'm going to try to order one and when available the Samurai. God bless! Be safe! 🤙🪖👮🙏🇺🇸
Great review, JB. Great comparison at the beginning! I've been really impressed with Packolab and have been wanting one of their bags, but might wait till they get a little better on taking orders. Hey, in 16:43 of the video there is a Field Pocket on the top of the pile that looks like a tan "corkboard" design. Love that color! Is that a Goruck Field Pocket? Me Likey! how do I get one?
@@JBOutside1 Thanks again for the info! I was able to pick up the Corkboard color Built by Scars GR1 Field Pocket from the Carryology forum. Thanks for showing it in the video :)
Really cool bag if your into admin organization. I think it would be a stronger bag without some of the pockets. Also frustration how inconsistent dimensions are from bag to bag. The GR2s listed depth is significantly deeper but the bags look darn near the same in the video.
Yeah that limits things for sure...I have to imagine that a website will happen in the future if business continues to improve and production can increase. But solo makers can save a ton of expenses and time that way.
Then it’s going to low-key annoy you that Packolab doesn’t invest big $$$ in the packaging, either. What they DO DO is make an amazing bag. That’s what you should care about.
Too much going on here. Love your videos, love your reviews, but this is a hard pass. Think it works well for you being a pilot but overall this seems to be overkill.
Correction to the GR2 dimensions I list at 4:17: 26L Dimensions: 12.5"W x 18"H x 7.25"D. Sorry for any confusion
Absolutely amazing innovation in this design.
I'm glad you think so! Totally agree

Thanks! Yeah a ton of details but your also can't go wrong with a GR1 ever

Thanks for staying up late!
So many interesting features! I kinda want one now...
Every detail is so well done here...all in one bag
Nice video and backpack!
I saw this one on his IG and already had an idea it might be yours given the fabrics xd
Just love that MCT and can't have ALL black bags 😜

Glad it was helpful! It's worth getting for sure!
Excellent ce sac....et j adore la couleur du evade.....
Such cool colors!

Nice!! It’s a great bag for sure. Worth the hunt. That field pocket you mentioned is a “built by SCARS” field pocket. Super cool.

would love a comparison of the buddy 22 vs this bag!
That's actually a good idea. Might do a short or reel on that. Lots of parallels

Posted dimensions and volumes always amuse me
What an intriguing pack! question - how comfortable are the straps under load compared to GORUCK GR1/2’s?
Almost identical in comfort. Very padded on both!
The depth of the GR2 is 7.25, not 12.5 as listed in the video.
@@uyt6uyt5 that’s true!! Typo. It IS 12.5” wide though 😜
The bag this is most similar to is the aer city pack pro
Nice! Thanks! My AER experiences have been limited
Man you are getting pretty full up again, are you gonna do another end of year sale again this year?
Absolutely, need an inventory manager...
So what do these run and how do you get one. Their insta wasn't that clear.
Great question and the answer is the price depends on what you add. But around $400 USD
I’m so pissed I didn’t get selected in the raffle for this backpack
First run was very small…next wave coming very soon!
@ we shall see
Not on Instagram either.
Ok
It low-key annoys me when companies only sell from Instagram... I don't use Instagram so I'm out 🤷♂️. That said, companies can do whatever they want.
Yeah that limits things for sure...I have to imagine that a website will happen in the future if business continues to improve and production can increase. But solo makers can save a ton of expenses and time that way.
Same here. No IG for me. I will have to wait for the website. I appreciate the creativity and dedication the Ukraine team has in spite of war.
Then it’s going to low-key annoy you that Packolab doesn’t invest big $$$ in the packaging, either. What they DO DO is make an amazing bag. That’s what you should care about.
Their gear looks epic! Amazing what theyve been able to accomplish despite the nightmare. Want one 🇺🇦
I barely use any social media, but you could just create an account, follow them until you get picked and order one, then delete ur account.

👊🏻
Cool backpack but too much going on for me
Haha, yeah I can see that. But don't get hung up on my crazy colors!
@ I like the colors. Just too many pockets for me.

I can see that viewpoint for sure
