    Correction to the GR2 dimensions I list at 4:17: 26L Dimensions: 12.5"W x 18"H x 7.25"D. Sorry for any confusion

    I've seen a lot of Pacolab gear in the Carryology group and the designs are incredibly impressive. I echo one of the other commenters about non-Instagram user frustrations in terms of ordering but also appreciate the small business nature of it.
    I've had so many backpacks over the years and personally always go back to a GORUCK GR1 - specifically a 26L. It has constantly been my tried and true, even with the non-water bottle pocket woes (Jason McCarthy, if you're watching this, please take note lol). I am at least super happy with the QAP addition.
    That said, the design of this pack is incredibly and ridiculously well thought out and super detail oriented. I'll most likely never be able to own let alone see one in person but man, it sure looks badass! Also love the little subtle Ukrainian flag tab on the interior. Cool touch.
    Enjoy!

      Thanks! Yeah a ton of details but your also can't go wrong with a GR1 ever

    As much as I dig the small Samurai bag the backpack is not for me, but I will say that it is a very interesting design for a full sized backpack. I have got to get that Samurai bag. Thanks for another great review.

    Great review, JB. Great comparison at the beginning! I've been really impressed with Packolab and have been wanting one of their bags, but might wait till they get a little better on taking orders. Hey, in 16:43 of the video there is a Field Pocket on the top of the pile that looks like a tan "corkboard" design. Love that color! Is that a Goruck Field Pocket? Me Likey! how do I get one?

    • @JBOutside1
      @JBOutside1  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nice!! It’s a great bag for sure. Worth the hunt. That field pocket you mentioned is a “built by SCARS” field pocket. Super cool.

      @@JBOutside1 Thanks again for the info! I was able to pick up the Corkboard color Built by Scars GR1 Field Pocket from the Carryology forum. Thanks for showing it in the video :)

      That's actually a good idea. Might do a short or reel on that. Lots of parallels

    Really cool bag if your into admin organization. I think it would be a stronger bag without some of the pockets. Also frustration how inconsistent dimensions are from bag to bag. The GR2s listed depth is significantly deeper but the bags look darn near the same in the video.

    What an intriguing pack! question - how comfortable are the straps under load compared to GORUCK GR1/2’s?

    • @JBOutside1
      @JBOutside1  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Almost identical in comfort. Very padded on both!

    • @uyt6uyt5
      @uyt6uyt5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The depth of the GR2 is 7.25, not 12.5 as listed in the video.

    • @JBOutside1
      @JBOutside1  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@uyt6uyt5 that’s true!! Typo. It IS 12.5” wide though 😜

      Great question and the answer is the price depends on what you add. But around $400 USD

    It low-key annoys me when companies only sell from Instagram... I don't use Instagram so I'm out 🤷‍♂️. That said, companies can do whatever they want.

    • @JBOutside1
      @JBOutside1  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah that limits things for sure...I have to imagine that a website will happen in the future if business continues to improve and production can increase. But solo makers can save a ton of expenses and time that way.

      Then it’s going to low-key annoy you that Packolab doesn’t invest big $$$ in the packaging, either. What they DO DO is make an amazing bag. That’s what you should care about.
