Certainly an amazing feat, but we should have seen it coming. Years ago, we had Rahdo Runs Through Brickwork, and Rahdo Runs Through Brick and Mortar. Then more recently, Rahdo Runs Through Hadrian’s Wall. And “They” don’t want you to remember Rahdo Runs Through [redacted]. Less impressive were: Rahdo Runs Through Fine Sand, Rahdo Runs Through Beaches, and Rahdo Runs Through Fields of Green. But my favorite still has to be Rahdo Runs Through BEEEEES!
Under Flow of the Game on Pg 10 in the Summer section #2 "Discard Shame tokens it states: "Pay 2 Chi per Shame token to return it back to the Shame token pool." I looked it up because Rahdo states @57:00 if he gets rid of the Shame token assigned to a soldier, it's gone. Like it didn't go back to the pool. That modification would significantly increase solo and co-op difficulty. Maybe I missed where this rule exists. I wanted to call it out for leaning purposes. Love your setup for solo play BTW Rahdo!
@55:18 shouldn't General Qin get 1 +2 Wood for the overseer instead of x2? Otherwise the first overseer you buy nets you no benefit. I think he should have gotten 3 honor.
Richard played correctly... I don't understand how the first overseer nets no benefit... you realize the overseer for Qin works differently than for the player, like Richard explained... the player get +1, +2 or +3 resources depending on the level of the overseer... Qin, gets x1, x2 or x3 Honor (with the number of clerks he has on location), since Qin doesn't take resources, he always gets Honor he starts with all overseers already on the board at level 1 so that he can score the honor for each clerk on the location.
This game looks quite interesting. But the mechanics of getting shame... Also without the reed clan the game would feel much different, at least it seems so.

@@rahdo figured it out, reed scribes can move durring the "other players" step on the players cards. The "overlord" (one highest in turn order) is the one that makes choices for the reed clan. The reed clan card never moves on there command card.

My friend has this game and I’ve played it twice now and it’s a lot of fun. Defiantly one of my new favorites.
