@ 8:59, was that part of the show?🤔 Thank God for the igloo water cooler. Kudos for dealing with it, I would have thrown the cant hook and walked away. Then I would come back, hook the tractor to it and dragged it around the yard several times cursing at it and then walked away again for a day or two.
You can say a bad word or two, I cut out about 3 min worth of bad words. The old igloo metal water cooler to the rescue ! We could not walk away, but we almost stopped the video. lol
at 8:57 you can see the log turner stuck on the corner of the cant. I was pressing down trying to get the log turner to release from the cant, but was not watching the other. So it was my fault for not looking both ways. Same reason 87% of accidents happen. Operator not paying attention.
@@DANG-- this is why i stress keeping the spots up all the way when turning the logs. many times trew out the video the stops where half way or less up when you trned the logs. I know yours are hydrolic and wont just fold down like the manual ones. but it's a good habit to get into. ask me how i know. maple wood all ways is a sight to see. good video.
@@chrissheathewoodguy Only in this video were they half way down because of the odd shape of this log, the turner was catching on the log and not releasing that is the only reason the dogs were half way down. Normally on a regular log the log turner will not operate until the dogs are all the way up.
Gravity 1 DANG 0 but success in the end!
Someone has to make sure Gravity is still working !
Im getting Becky a hardhat for Christmas
She Needs one! That was close ! I had to leave that in the video.

That is one ugly log …. I think your helper needs to stay way clear of you..😂
Good job there Sir.
@@MsdMakingSawDust I almost got her with that flitch. Thanks for the ugly comment! Lol. It was a nasty log for sure.
Becky needs socks and a pair of steel toe boots. Is sockless sawing permitted?
Footies ! She should have steel toe boots and a helmet also for this one !
