SVMF - The First 60 Years

Welcome to Shenandoah Valley Music Festival! Our concert series started in Shenandoah County, Va., in 1963 and has brought great, live music to the Valley each summer ever since. SVMF started out as purely symphonic but now presents concerts featuring artists from a variety of genres including bluegrass, Americana, Celtic and folk to pop-rock, classic rock and country. Our summer concert series takes place in Orkney Springs, Va. on select weekends from Mid-July to Labor Day weekend.
