Ned Fulmer I love seeing the affection you have for each other, it’s inspiring! I’ve been watching Try Guys videos from the very beginning and it’s so inspiring to see that you two still have that same level of affection for each other (if not more) that you had then. Ned was actually spot on with adding the grape jelly to the onions. The extra acid helps break down the onions further and of course the added sugar helps with the sweetness.
😂😂 That reminded me of me & my husband...except I’m Ned & my husband is Ariel when it comes to savory food. Now desserts are all my husband. He has actually went to school to be a pastry chef and worked at several high ranked places in the area. While I haven’t went to school for cooking but I grew up being taught traditional southern cooking at home, Cajun cooking and pit BBQ at cousins’ homes in New Orleans and the gulf coast every summer and Asian recipes as well as Southern & Cajun dishes with an Asian twist by one of my great aunts who came from Vietnam but had grown up moving all over Asia. And she had family members from different areas of the continent she grew up learning recipes from. So my cooking “education” is fairly varied. Especially now that I’ve had a friend who was born & raised in Italy teaching me Italian home cooking in exchange for teaching him southern home cooking. Finally got him to try venison the other day and he loved it. Only took me 3yrs to get him to try it. Still working on getting him to try squirrel. 😂😂

Ned sees Ariel crying: Oh, Ariel, you're crying. Here let me chop some.
Ariel: No, I'm not crying, and don't chop-
**Both end up crying as they slowly chop onions.**
"Tastes like red wine maybe?"
"Oh I bet it's red wine"
"That's so Ariel"
They're all so unaware of the grape jelly
Well, they got the grape part right 😂😂😂
It's funny too, because Ned suggests it like 5 times, 2 or 3 of which were in front of the actual chef xD
I think the wine would have been an interesting idea to include as well though! Their onions were more patty/putty like where as the actual burger has it more runny. Alcohol burns off, but it might have helped with the texture and flavor.
It's so weird they cut this part out!

ikr it sounds cheesy but it was so cute!!!
💀 not anymore
oops 😅
This aged poorly
When Ned saw Ariel crying and went “Oh my Ariel no!”..... that hit very different. WHY CANT MORE MEN BE LIKE NED
they get called simps duh
There are exactly four (4) valid men on the internet and Ned is one of them.
No prizes for guessing who the other three are.
Being a ‘nice guy’ can only get you so far, and most people like guys who can be caring and compassionate but stoic and manly as well.
Oh god no, he’s so annoying. IDK hope she puts up with him. Major kudos
Because society tells them from a very early age not to be like that. And the longer they go mainly hanging out with other guys the worse they get typically. There is a reason many guys who grew up with a bunch of sisters tend to make more caring, understanding partners. Even the other Try guys rag Ned every time he talks about his wife & kid. It’s what our society has become. Just look around at all the “bros before hoes” type sayings on merch & such. It’s sad. But it’s the same way for many women now too. True quality relationships take compromise & being unselfish. But society is teaching people to become more & more selfish/self centered. “Put yourself first” type of thinking doesn’t really work long term in relationships. Both people need to put the other person first. However it HAS to be BOTH people doing so or one person just ends up being taken advantage of. 😕 You can see the Ariel cares just as much for Ned as he does for her. Which is how it should be.
I love Ariel, she’s so funny and genuine! She’s that cool girl from high school, who was everyone’s friend and was popular because she was just so damn nice.
Abby Meyer she seems very social too
Yea she’s the type to just have friends not because she tries to belong or changes herself to fit in, she’s just purely friendly.

@@Rachel-xu4br My exact thoughts
Sharpen your knives!! A sharper knife does less damage to the onion’s cells and triggers less of a reaction from the onion, which means less tears for you! I have super sensitive eyes and that was a lifesaver tip for me. We even have a cat now who will weep when onions are cut if we don’t do it right. I won’t cut an onion without sharpening a knife first. Also chill your onions first and keep the cut sides towards the board. Make sure you’re chopping/dicing as efficiently as possible too c:
Ooooof also don’t wipe or touch your face omf
I will tell this to my family!! We set up a taco shop on our front yard (with masks n shit ofc) and we usually make a shitton of habanero and cebolla w/ cilantro and I have to step out bc my eyes hurt so much
I always sit down when i‘m cutting onions so that the vapors don‘t come up directly into my eyes and it works.
That, or put wet tissue near the onion while cutting, onion absorbs moisture and your eyes are the closest thing to it. I tried this a few times and it legit worked
What if..... I cut it Really fast?!

Well Wes is not a food
Damn, Chef Sang sounds so serious even when he's joking that I'm lowkey scared of him. And you can see that the Father's Office burger is his LITERAL pride and joy, almost borderline obsessive over it (in my very personal opinion but he has every right to be) but I like how he still gave them a good score and also within the video gave pointers on how they can make the home cooked version better.
He loves what he does and is so good at it! An honor to work with him.

@@NedFulmer thank you so much for replying, you made my day!
Damn TH-cam has no chill. It is literally recommending only vids with Ned and Ariel.
RIGHT, the algorithm is a proper savage today 💀
The chefs face when the burger is somewhat similar to his restaurant burger is priceless 💀
I just wish it would’ve shown them telling him the onions had grape jelly in them. I wanted to see his response. 😂
He was so mad 😂😂😂😂
I love and respect how willing the chef was to show his process. The way he explained things was real nice.
Great job by Ned and Ariel too... I could feel the tension the chef was trying their burger. And the pride and joy at his reaction!!
Loads of love...
Daddy's office seems like a keith thing to do.
Ned, at the very end: “I’ve never made anything this good in my life!”
Ariel, thinking: *we literally have a child*
But Ariel was the one who made it 😂
@@mmv6747 but Ned helped 😂
Rachel is a genius! There should be a Rachel segment in the tryguys behind the scenes.
Did you see the video where Keith and Becky entertained her twins? I cried like a baby, because it was so cute. But yeah, Rachel is great.
delor b which video is that?
@@classyfassy The Try Guys replace each other. Her twins are so adorable.
@@delorbb2298 Can't tell you how many times I've randomly said, "'Hello Poppy, hello June!" just like Keith did in that puppet show. Omg, my heart
'JUST STOP SAYING DADDY!'
I want that on a shirt
Hell yeah! I'll buy that shirt for $25.
Every Riverdale fan to Veronica
It’s just a matter of time before they sell this,
like Eugene iconic I’m right, you’re wrong, shut up
Well yeah they put “Always Bet on Gay” so it’s possible
I want it too! I feel like they’d need permission from the chef because unlike with other quotes shirts this is someone outside the company.
This was a fantastic episode.
1) Ned, you are a chemist. First, the onions, then the splatter. Safety goggles, sir.
2) This may be Daddy's Office, but this is Mommy's House. Ariel, your flex is divine.
Cheers!
Ned's reaction to Ariel crying because of the onions is precious. Totally something my fiancee would do too lol
Nick catered for Elton John, managed a hot dog stand, had Betty White in his car, and he's a food writer?!
WHAT CAN"T NICK DO??
Always bet on gay

NED GOT HIS OWN SHOW
hopefully this one lasts longer than the diy one
I enjoyed watching the diy series 🙁
@@Poppieslilliespeonies no that was dine on dine out that was different they didn't recreate a dish they just made the same category
I think the DIY one is coming back. I really hope it's coming back. I loved that show.
I think the DIY show was just too expensive
IvyTruong I loved the diy series, but I think it came at a time where multiple people needed to redesign, and it was difficult to continue
Zach: Sitting among prestigious professionals.
Also Zach: Heheh 69
I want to like this comment but it’s currently at 69 so I can’t mess this up
that chef has such a cool easygoing personality. makes me wanna try out his restaurant
Been reading about him for a while & ppl rave over that burger!
I'm frugal, but I'd pay for that.
I can make it, but even if I found aged beef, we don't even know what cut it is... huge difference.
I'd literally cook the onions for 12 hours, but how did he incorporate the bacon?!
The fact that Ned has the audacity to roast Ariel's onions when his bread isn't even STARTED. I would've smacked him.
"You can't really dry age in your own home"
Brad Leone has entered the chat
Lmaoooo
What hasn't that man aged or preserved?
Guga from Guga Foods HELLO!
“Of course you can dry age your beef at home. I personally, like to throw in some garlic, a little bit of miso. And ya know I like to throw in some sumac. And oh I forgot the pink peppercorn, I love this stuff.”
You can dry age at home. It just takes up a lot of space in your fridge for a whole month. I'll bet bison or deer burgers would have been an interesting substitute.
@@melsterifficmama1808 I thought of mixing some deer burger or buffalo with a really good ribeye burger also. It would give that slight wild flavor they were looking for. Even elk would do.
If you had balsamic vinegar to the onions while cooking them down, it adds caramelization, tang, umami, and the colour they seek. Way faster than cooking for 12 hours
They could also have used a more shallow dish and sliced the onions with a mandolin very thin to speed up the process.
Ariel is so amazing! She is such a great mother and chef. I hope that she goes on and makes her own youtube channel and does diy stuff. Ariel definitely has a good personality for tv.
her husband is a piece of trash
i hope the assistant quits
Ariel looks more and more confident and comfortable after every video.
