Crime happens regardless of place, time and people. Never take things for granted. The problem is people want to try tempt fate. A moment of folly changes one's fate forever.

nice but make sure walk in pair or group and hit main road and not back side of the building.. one simple trick you can do, if you guys seen weird approach at mid night, take your phone and make dummy fake phone call that seems u are on the phone with someone..

I can relate what the two bloggers are experiencing. Should you compare KL and London, Amsterdam, or any European cities, the main difference is that there are no "looming strangers" in front of a hotel or in the pathways streets at night..

it would be better to at least have 1 men..
old people said "in the middle of night, kind person is either sleep or work, so we don't know what type of people on the street.. "

Do you know malaysia is 24hour life😅 especially in kuala Lumpur
If you want eat..you can go at "mamak restaurant" any time you want, if you want buy something , you can get it on 7eleven.
If you want to party 24 hour nonstop? Still have a place.. ask your local friend😂

Malaysia is very diverse and there are both locals and non locals , illegal and legal in the city.
Walking in deserted city streets in the dead of the night is generally not advised in most big cities.
More so when you are not local, not used to local norms, and not sure where to seek help if something happens to you. Had something happened to you, you ran into a drunk , a group of rowdy young bikers who harrass you, what will your content headline be - "Malaysia is not safe for women"?
Yes Malaysia is generally safe, as long as people use good judgement and common sense.
Local girls and women dont go alone into deserted streets at 3am, without good reason.

Malaysians generally are law abiding citizens but we are no saints.
Commonsense and alertness must both be diligently applied even in the safest place of the world.
Furthermore, Malaysia is a home to million migrants from neighboring countries which they may not hold the same morale values as us Malaysians.
So…still you are exposed to all kind of people of varied nationalities, different social upbringing and educations. Becareful yeah.
