      @@SamI-eb8ne I was kind of referring to the male species rather than the females. I believe that it's safe to assume that both genders suffer from accelerated aging due to the robots. However when a female is born, they undergo a gene therapy procedure that slows down their aging so they get a longer lifespan than the males.

      Well it took Morty jr about a week to become as old as he is in that scene. And the three seasons have been over a span of a couple of years so morty jr is probably dead so he’s technically not a dad anymore

      Morty Jr. Learned to cope with his anger issues, Morty just tried to suppress it, until he snapped.. But I do believe a lot of creatives are born from trauma, which is pretty interesting, but also very sad..

    It's kind of impressive that even though his son wrote a book about how much he hates him, Morty doesn't fire back with any negative feelings. He's still concerned for his well-being even after he shamed him on television.
    Morty's a good person. Not without his flaws, but still a good person.

      A good drug dealer is just like any other retail store. They don't do promotions, giveaways and sales simply because they think their customers are cute, you do it because it to 1) build a better relationship with your customer 2) introduce them to new products they might otherwise not try 3) Hopefully get them to refer you to other people, so in the end they still make more money than they "gave" away. And Adult Swim is the best drug dealer I know.

    What’s incredible is that Morty thought that anyone even slightly descended from Rick Sanchez could grow up to respect authority.

    I feel like the novel is called "My Horrible Father" and talks about Innocence because of his own flaws. He even takes to smiling when remembering dancing with Morty.
    He recognizes his own flaws just as much as he recognizes Morty's, he just isn't that keen on him. How could he be? But he understands Morty and his convictions the same way he's able to understand his own without the blindside of his Genetic Code.
    Morty did great as a father and Morty Jr is a very well developed and well made character despite his 1 episode screentime.

    Sometimes the parent can't show their child the attention they need (Rick disappearing for 20 years)
    Sometimes the parent can't show their child the affection they need (Jerry and Beth being too focused on their failing marriage)
    Sometimes the parent can't show their child the respect they need (morty valuing Jr's safety over his learning how to face the world)

    But no ones talking about how realistic Mortimus' trauma is- he resents his childhood and his father, but he doesnt deny or refuse to acknowledge there were good times. The whole reason why people suffer toxic relationships is from a combination of circumstances that put you in a position youre unable to leave, where youre dependent to some extent, and peppered throughout pleasantries that cause you to second guess the trauma.
    Especially trauma with family, its commonly a turmoil of affection and mistrust in parental figures, where they still provided, but at any chance given they shame and neglect their child.
