My favourite part of this is that Rick specifically asked for "a bottle if water" instead of just "water", so the aliens stupidly simulated a regular Earth water bottle onto their random alien ship. Rick was 99% sure it was a simulation, but that stupid move from the aliens made him certain.

To the guy who 'tried' to correct my spelling, I am going to make an educated guess and assume you are European but I myself, an American spell it as that in the u.s is cesium. Well no atomic bombs are made up of fiddle elements like uranium and is then enriched in the isotope that can sustain a fission nuclear chain reaction. When a free neutron hits the nucleus of a fissile atom like uranium, the uranium splits into two smaller atoms called fission fragments, plus more neutrons thus creating the explosion. As of right now there are no plutonium nukes because we have almost no clue how a plutonium nuke would work because experimenting with nukes is seen as a act of aggression
plutonic quarks probably have no connection to plutonium, and they shouldn't anyway. plutonium detonates based off of neutron absorption which wouldn't apply to the situation. the plutonic quarks are a fictional concept and probably function as a catalyst to speed up and potentially increase the severity of the reaction. doing the latter would mean the plutonic quarks would have to have already stored some type of energy within themselves.
@@KevinLLH plutonium detonations work the same way as uranium detonations. once you move up the periodic table where atoms are so massive and heavy, you start noticing intervals in the patterns of which atoms are unstable or not. uranium and plutonium both fall under the category of atoms that are incredibly massive but also high in nucleic energy. similar to uranium, plutonium will also become unstable when absorbing mass. just as an fyi, plutonium nukes have been made and used against people; the second bomb in japan was a plutonium nuke

He asked for Cesium, Plutonic Quartz and Bottled Water and not only they were conveniently there, but also Morty was instantly able to recognize them. If Rick had any doubts still (I'm sure he didn't)...

I love how you can tell Morty is part of the simulation because he specifically asks Rick "You know how to make it too right?" when it was implied that he was the one that invented it. Ofcourse the other obvious nod was that all the all the ingredients where on the ship miraculously.
Or the fact that Morty would know what those ingredients even look like lol
There are so many signs when rewatching this episode that they were still in a simulation. One that I noticed was that, when mixing the caesium and plutonic quartz, morty got the parts right without asking any questions, and then shock the bucket without an instruction too, as if he had made it before. But IMO that seems very odd for a morty, who in danger panics, to get it all right and stay calm in the situation.

what I like the most are the clues that this is a simulation if you look at them they go through several places that shouldn't be possible to be on the ship like the moon and also the fact that the ship went through a much smaller hole than it needed to to be able to get off the aliens ship

We had just learned about the Caesium in water thing in science class when I first saw this clip because my chemistry teacher threw some Potassium into water and we stood about a foot away and watched it explode. That teacher also did not believe in safety goggles, but I’m glad I saw this clip when I did and not beforehand.

@@brandommario2 My chemistry teacher last year wasn’t big on safety procedures in general. Safety goggles, wafting, you name it. That class was super dangerous but it was also the most fun I have ever had during a chemistry class because he didn’t believe in dulling down the procedures to make it high-school safe. This man was all explosions and extreme chemical reactions.
I just realized when watching this clip that Rick would never had Jerry work the lasers over Morty in normal circumstances, but told Jerry so we were told prior to the end that Morty was part of the simulation.

I like how these guys were somewhat successful on tricking rick as he didn’t know for sure what was real.
The first one was so intentionally bad that anyone would know its fake or atleast something was seriously wrong.
The code of the safe he did intentionally wrong since he knew the scammers would want the information
And the formula he wanted to see if they would actually have the ingredients in the back. If they did that means he knew it was fake because thats not really how you make it and even if it was why would they have it in the back for rick to make when they could just use produce the real thing.
Also even though he was always suspicious of being in a simulation he was genuinely surprised when he found out Morty was apart of the simulation.

We all know that Rick knew, it's just cool that there were hints to the fact that he knew before the big reveal.
The fact that the processors did not disappear 0:22shows that this is also a simulation.
And the fact that Jerry’s suit did not disappear 1:43 along with the situation, also shows that it is another simulation.
But the final one has no such discrepancy, 3:20 so we know that it’s real.

This is an episode where you kinda feel bad for rick, he was having a blast throwing the processors. Only for that true moment of joy to be completely fake, i believe deep down rick loves morty & wished that moment was real. He tells him he appreciates him at the end credit scene.
