    Hi Sam, Lori from the USA here. I love this video, as I have quite a few of these sets from the UK. I do have a tip for you that I hope you will like. Take your 2 parts of same sets and stick them together back to back. This way you don't have to double the use of your labels. I have done this with a bunch of Stampin Up stamps. I just add adhere the die pocket to the back of the stamp case. I hope you still read these posts, so you get this. Thank you so much for this video and all the ones you do. I got some great ideas from this video. God Bless you & stay safe & well.

    Thank you for all you do to educate us. I needed a way to fit a larger stamp sheet into a bin and this will work. I did one other thing to fit stamps into my sleeves and that is rounding the corners. It makes them easier to slide into sleeves. Bless you.

      Yes, I round the corners too Reva! I love them in the pockets, as it is so easy to see what you have, or what you're looking for!

    Brilliant I might start doing that.
    I have stamp my images on card which I laminate, stick the stamps on to the back of that then into an A5 Pocket.
    What I find is there ere great sentiments on a stamp set but I always forget about them. I am in the process of taking "ALL" the sentiments off sets, putting them altogether as as collections of "sentiments" in hope to find them when I want without going through all the "stamp sets" Might not work in the way I am thinking but am giving it a try.
    Finding the "perfect" way to store all our "crafty stash" will go on for ever ... keeps us out of mischief 😀😀😀
    Thank you for another great idea.

    This is what I do: forget cutting the pictures, I peel all the stamps off and put them on the new clear plastic the way you wnt them. Now, so that I can have a picture, I ink the stamps on the new plastic and put cardstock on top to get all the images on the one piece of cardstock that is the size of the clear envelope, then just slide everything into the clear envelope. The pictures are in front of the actual stamps so you know where to put them back. I hope I explained it okay for you.

      @MixedUpCraft  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I've seen that way but I wanted to keep the original images on the acetate, I still know where to put my stamps back each time as the acetate piece is stuck down. :)

    Also, as space for me is a premium, what do you (and everyone else) do with your magazines?
    As a newbie, I'm loathe to throw mine away after reading because of all the advice and tips etc

    I am new to this, however I have my stamps similar to your first choice. Mine are in an A4 binder where you can add or remove the pages. I also keep a copy of the mag behind the stamp sheets. I know this will have to change, but I will just remove the mags and put them elsewhere. Sorry but I couldn't be bothered to cut up those A4 sheets. I am in Australia so we miss out on any offers and also are a few months behind with our mag issues.
    Just my view.

    I'm currently trying to figure a way to store magazines, stamps, and dies plus the other stuff I've received over the last few months that came in various kits. Cardmaking is new to me and I'd like to get this under control from the start since I am disabled and it takes a lot out of me to do much all at once.
    I saw someone else put her stamps into old CD cases (with the insides removed) and thought that might work for some of the stamps and possibly even for some of the dies, but it won't work for all of them. The A4 stamp and/or die sheets are probably the most difficult because I'd like to keep dies with stamps that belong together.
    It seems to be an ongoing thing but I need to get this sorted soon because I don't actually have a room for crafting... everything is over on or around my crafting table in the living room... and the room isn't very big. I have a set of drawers that might work, but I have to see how things fit into it. It might even sit on the table, under the shelf that stands on one end of my table. It's one of those folding tables used in craft shows, so is 6 feet long and 2 feet deep... good for crafting on... if I leave myself some room to work! LOL

    I wish we had magazine's here in the US that gave you stamps when you purchase the!

      You can order subscriptions to several UK magazines but they are pricey. I get two. The most economical way is to order from Joannasheen.com Her website in addition to all the wonderful products she sells has a section of magazines. I order from her frequently as the shipping is free if your order is over $15 and I usually receive the order within a week to ten days. You will notice the prices are in British pounds which when translated to dollars is roughly one and a half times. So ten pounds British is about fifteen dollars U.S. Her dies are reasonable and they cut beautifully. Also Joan craft stores in the U.S. sell a couple different British card magazines and like the subscriptions are usually behind
      a couple months. They are easy to spot on the magazine rack in the store as they are always enclosed in clear plastic so the stamps don't become separated from the magazine. Hope this helps.

    • @MixedUpCraft
      @MixedUpCraft  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I pop any matching die sets on a magnetic sheet behind the stamps and label (matching dies) on the front. My embossing folders I keep separate as they are to bulky, you can label the top of your embossing folder that it matches a die and stamp set :)

      Shona Smith , I store my dies in the back of my stamp pocket, and write on the front that there is a die so I will see it when flipping through my stamps. I also store my embossing folders in the plastic pockets and numbered them. I made an impression of each folder, glued it in a blank notebook with the corresponding numbers. Easy to flip through the book and find the embossing folder I want to use.

      I store my stamps and dies together, but add to the label that this set also has an embossing folder too. I store my folders separately and add the same magazine info to it.
