The guy sings better live... (perfect pitch and capacity of improvisation,...) More than two years that I follow him. A good example of that is his "different" performances of the song "Know". The guy is such a "sick" perfectionist that he would practice all a year on a new difficult technique, if necessary... lol I was a perfectionist too, but in different categories, therefor I can comprehend his midset... He probably will feel a little humiliated if he has to do lipsinging and maybe he has been forced to by different TV producers, especially in Russia. Love your sincere reactions, brother!

Ken, first of all, Dimash is not a baritone, but a tenor. Secondly, he always sings live, and you as an experienced vocal coach can watch it at a lower speed, since there are a lot of recordings of Dimash practically in his mouth. Third, Igor Krutoy, who wrote this song specifically for Dimash, made a special recording of the choir so that Dimash could perform this song when the choir would not be able to learn their part. In General, for all his songs, Krutoy, especially for Dimash, makes backing tracks and choruses. Fourth(or rather first), Dimash has absolute hearing, and this makes it very difficult for Him to sing incorrectly-it cuts his ear.

And now he can compose some pieces that nobody could ever sing before. This is a huge thing that happened, as Maestro Krutoy have been working with Lara Fabian, and with sooo many Russian singers. He is mogul, but could not resist to work with Dimash. That is a man who is on piano , usually named just like that in other reactors videos, hahahaha. Ok , they will learn.

Dimash sings live. I believe there are times when the backtrack is recorded, but it’s been brought up many times, that he was not live. But as I stated before, Dimash sings live. I saw him live on stage in New York this past December, and he sang this exact song, and it was absolutely amazing. Igor Krutoy composed this song for Dimash, whenever these two extremely talented musicians combine their skills , you are definitely in for a spectacular experience. He doesn't always sing live. There are some venues where it is hard to always sing live, like the big stadium such as the one that he is in in this video. His fans need to calm down with the "he's always perfect" thing. We all know he is a fantastic singer.
Last year I traveled to Kazakhstan to see him live again. In that concert in Nur-Sultan he sang Olimpico. After giving up my chair to hear it as close as possible, I noticed that his voice is so grand, so strong and unreal that the microphone is always located about 30cm from the mouth, that still impresses me today. I believe after more than 4 years of accompanying Dimash that he actually has something that transcends us, something mythic I dare say ... his strength is not normal, his voice is cosmic. Dimash sings live, the proof is that he always interprets his songs differently.

It's not live. EVERY performance you hear of this song sounds exactly the same. Still best singer in the world though. Not hating but you even see trained singers saying it's lip sync.
I have heard a few reactors one was an opera singer making comments that it wasn't live. But I'll gladly be wrong. I listen to Dimash every day but this song and sinful passion sound exactly the same every time. You gave a good explanation of why it's like that, so thank you.
@@geoffprince2258 This song is absolutely 100% live I'm not saying every performance of this song is however I can personally speak on this performance and his Arnau performance in Astana are both live performances because I was there working behind the scenes. Again I don't know if every performance of this song is live but the 2 I mentioned this being 1 of them are absolutely 100% live.

Мне тоже посчастливилось на юбилейном концерте Крутого в Дюссельдорфе, это что-то, рядом недалеко от сцены стояла ,весь зал взорвался,люди приехали с разных стран Европы, Польши, Голландии, Чехии,Франции, Словакии..особенно шокировал экспромтом Любовь уставших лебедей

Well, I'm sure he was singing it like he was live, whether it was a track or not... but there's not a single person in these comments who can say for sure either way, unless the were on the production crew....

The funny thing is, even if the people who work around him say that he's singing live, some people keep on making excuses and say that they are lying. People will believe what they want to believe. Just like you.
P.s. no one can lipsync 100% the same with the track... right to the matching mouth, the visible veins, the moving larynx, the exact body posture, the breathing etc the man is human, not a robot. There ain't no way he can lipsync PERFECTLY right to the little details. But ok, some people prefer to be blind to these little details. I get it.

I've always thought this is a live performance, and I still do... but, can I prove it? NO. And neither can you. For a myriad of reasons it's also a possibility that it's pre-recorded. So I'm not going to argue with a bunch of people who also can't prove their point. I simply said, the only people who can say for sure are the production people, and that regardless if we are hearing a track or not, he would still be singing it the same. So I give all you professional armchair analyzers who try to convince me one or the other about a 10% sway of my opinion. So to answer your question, yes, I say the same thing to them.

I'm pretty sure it was live, because of some differences I heard in this and the other songs he performed at this event (compared to other live or studio versions). Kaitlyn, I was at his first solo concert in the Barclays Center last December 10, as well. I was seated on 6, row 4. I had a great view of him. Phenomenal! Almost 3 hours floating on another Galaxy.... and Ogni Pietra performance was MAJESTIC!
Dimash sounds the same live or otherwise. People who stood a few feet away from him at his live shows can testify to that.

Dear Ken, this is actually the first song Igor Krutoy composed JUST FOR DIMASH after joining him to compose several songs for him and he has already reworked other songs to fit Dimash's abilities. So far Igor has composed 4 new songs just for him. Yes it was live and the final note was E6 Dimash calls us Dears because we are Dear to his heart like family.

Believe me, this is a live performance))) I was at one of Dimash’s concerts. he performed this song. almost three hours of live sound. it was an extravaganza. during the performance of the Ogni pietra, the entire hall was probably in a stupor. Since the live voice is even more powerful. this is unbelievable! I completely agree that Dimash is the best singer of our time. he is a phenomenon!

He has a great baritone and a high that makes sopranos jealous. Lots of hard work mixed with amazing talent. There are videos of him practising before the show, and even singing at weddings. He's not fake.

@@assell7985 ДИМАШ не поёт под фонограмму. В Китае это запрещено законом, а ОН там очень много выступал. ДИМАШ и без закона никогда не поёт под фонограмму , это неприемлемо для НЕГО. Крутой сам говорил, что ДИМАШ отказывается петь не в живую. Игорь Яковлевич сказал , что ДИМАШ перевернул его видение о мире и людях.
Пусть посмотрит репетицию этого выступления, или как ДИМАШ в Сочи на репетиции пел "Грешную страсть" от и до. Что режиссёр дар речи потерял. У него тоже весь мир восприятия перевернулся. Всё ищут черную кошку в тёмной комнате, а её там нет.

Yes, Dimash has a beautiful lyric baritone, but he's a natural tenor, according to both himself and his academic voice teacher, Marat Aitimov. In some of his younger performances you will hear that his baritone range required time and work to evolve into what we hear now. Thanks for your enjoyable reaction!
imo he's absolutely a lyric baritone. He got classified as tenor (but also already sang baritone roles back then) when he was 18. Usually you can't for sure tell a voice type when the singer's voice hasn't matured yet (around 30)
Even though he's very agile, he has a too dark timbre and too much weight in his chest voice to be a tenor. But it doesn't make sense to classify him anyway, he can sing whatever he wants (even though he usually sings baritone roles when he sings in his classical chest voice)
In my opinion he is a tenor, and even in Olimpico he sings like a dark dramatic tenor. If you want to listen to a true baritone voice, listen to Sundet or to Hvorostovsky, and you will hear the big difference.
I really think that he is a tenor. Just watch his duet with Sundet and you can hear that a baritone's voice is even more richer and has a deeper tone that Dimash's. He just worked a lot to develop his lower register, when he was younger it wasn't even closely as beautiful and full as it is now. He has a beautiful baritone voice especially here in Olimpico or his Ulisse and Ti Amo Cosi duets, but a real baritone has a darker timbre.

With Dimash it's very important you get the best performance.

Honestly, who else will be able to sing this like dimash? He’s one of a kind, lately I’ve been reading so much hate comments in dimash videos from other fandoms, they call him mediocre/sounds like a dying cat/unsupported/stained/copycat/unoriginal/no versatility/can only sing high notes badly ect. The more fame you garner the more hate you get I spose, But if they took the time to look at a few more dimash performances, they’d find out that even if they end up not liking dimashs music, he is a great singer and a humble human being 🙁 I do appreciate reactions from people who are open and knowledgeable like so ❤️

Dimash can do anything. He is perfect.
Have to put up with it and somehow live on. Vocal Express Dimash goes his own way, the rest remains to wave his hand after him. Or try to run after him on the railroad ties.
You know what? There's no use in questioning whether he sings live or not because no matter what he really can sing like no other human being.
Just attend his concerts and see it yourself whether he's real or a fake. Prove it yourself. I grow tired with all these lipsync debate.

Personally, I don't get why some people keep on debating about this. Don't they all know by now all the things that he can do? Why should it matter? It should matter if he's a fake, meaning he cheats, he can't sing all these stuffs in real. But hey, there are lots of fancams, acapellas and backstage singing to prove otherwise. So why do some people keep on making a big deal about this? Every single performance must be questioned : is this a lipsync?. It doesn't matter, duh? You already know what he can do. But rather than enjoying his music and voice you seem to care more about "catching him in the act".
They always say it doesn't matter if he lipsyncs, he's still the best, but funnily they are always the ones who make a big deal out of it. Everytime someone mentions this word (which you can count by hand), they will always happily gang up in the comment section, giving their "expertise". Even "attack" another vocal coach for not thinking like them. They are always the experts and no one else, not even vocal coaches lol
Honestly, I find some people seem to forget that he's classically trained since he was 5 years old. But yet, still they doubt that he can sing "perfectly". (Opera singers sing perfectly, duh?) That only when he "slips a little" is he singing live.
By that logic, it means he's singing 97% in playback and only 3% live. Including all his singer performances are lipsynced. Yes that iconic Hello 2018 too. That's funny.

People should just realize that YES only the production team knows for real so there's no use in SPECULATING and even worse claiming your words as the truth.
Shut up and just enjoy the singing, the music, the show. What's more important to you? His singing and the way his voice makes you feel? Or proving that he lipsyncs?

I totally agree with you, i have been following Dimash since his first Singer perfomance (I was lucky enough to click his SOS video by accident back then,I had no idea about music from Kazakhstan, and was not interested in it, it was pure pure accident) and i also gre tired of all this lipsinc discussion, I think vocal coaches and singers are kind of envious of his talent and worst are vocal coaches who also sing. Coaches who have just known about him I understand that it's hard for them to believe coz they haven't seen all the acapellas n stuffs. And haven't attended his live concert.
But these fans who know already about what he can do... but still keep on thinking about lipsync rather than enjoying his music... the ones who seem happy to tell everyone that Dimash lipsyncs (which he doesn't. Well, usually doesn't)..... These ppl I don't understand.

Correct yes. Igor Krutoy wrote it for Dimash and yes this is a recording of a live performance. He sings this in several venus. They are also live recordings
Seems he doesn't need a second take. He has done all that a million times before we see him.
He has done two videos as far as I have found which could very well have been done in retakes but they are so fluid, they seem to be a single take.

Totally live. The chorus has head mike's that are designed to be less visible. Dimash is about singing and not about image. He delivers. The only exception would be a music video or early on when singing at the Kremlin live it was required. That is no longer the case with Dimash because they realize he's that good. Enjoyed your reaction to this incredible young man. He will prove to go down in music history as a legendary great.
He has hundreds of fan clubs. His fans are called "Dears". Famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy wrote this song specifically for Dimash. I don't think Dimash does any performance that isn't live. There are many videos showing how strong his voice is even without a microphone. The man is a singing phenomenon.
Dimash calls his fans "Dears", "because they are dear to his heart." So now you are a Dear, or Dimash Dear. There are many Dimash fan clubs, for example Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club or Dimash USA Fan Club and many, many more.

This was live but this isn't THE performance of the song from the actual opening ceremony. There is a video of that around,dimash is at one end of the arena,dressed in light blue/yellow trim traditional costume & the camera does go back & forth to him but basically is mainly the footage of some old (er) people walking around the track carrying an olympic flag & waving whilst dimash is singing. This version may be prerecorded for the very same reasons that you mentioned, I wouldn't be surprised as a worldwide audience,which the olympics is, must be a logistical nightmare

Although I have understand why performances at these big events aren't always sung live, I think that this one was. Because I don't think Dimash would share it on his own channel otherwise when he has so many other stupendous performances of this song to choose from. Moreover, if I understand correctly this gigantic ceremony was produced by Igor's company. And he has enough faith in Dimash to have him sing live. But even if he didn't sing live this time, we all know that that's not because he can't do it ❤️

That's basically a text book embouchure for the upper area of your full chest voice in bel canto. You generally sing with a dropped jaw in bel canto and you need to extend ir more when approaching the upper end of your range with respect to a specific register or technique
Yes, but he was using it during his lower rangesinging in the verses. Your jaw should be dropped, but not that long in height until you're doing the high notes. If you start with your normal chest range with such a extremely dropped jaw,… Where do you go when it's time for the high notes? You're going to exaggerate your jaw position, and that will cause tension in your singing . Which might be another indication that this performance wasn't live to begin with. He would definitely do a better job with his jaw positioning, if it is live.

Sir, Dimasis is not a singer who plays by ear, Dimas has studied music, finished college, got his master's degree in music and is preparing his doctorate. Dimash is the greatest voice of all time. He's an educated young man with a lot of respect for his parents, grandparents, old people.. It is an example for young people today. With a lot of common sense and humility, it always thanks the fans, and the spectators. He comes from a good family, his parents are both opera singers. Dimash is unique. It's amazing. Dimash only sings live. I saw him live in shows in Düsseldorf, Germany, in Barclays Center, New York. Anyone who listens to him, sees him once, wants to listen to him all the time. His voice is crystal clear, strong, wonderful. It would be great if you could analyze some more performances. Thank you very much. Greetings from Germany! :)

This is one of his most amazing songs, a masterpiece and so the downside of it seems that you can't write such songs every week. But I wonder if these kinds of songs are not risky for his or any voice because it seems so demanding on many levels.
