- This is what you should do if your tooth falls out.
First, keep calm and find the tooth.
Hold the tooth by the crown, NOT by root. Root surface cells are very important for saving the tooth, and you can damage them.
If dirty, gently rinse with water. Do not use soap or chemicals.
Then, put it back into the socket. Hold it in position with your finger.
If you cannot reposition the tooth, make sure you keep it moist by putting it in milk or in your mouth by the cheek. Now, it is important you do not put the tooth in regular water, the cells cannot tolerate that for extended periods of time.
Now, it's best to see your dentist with 30 minutes.

I see a dentist on the 11th, so from this day posted of having a tooth fall out besides the root it's been 9 days of complete hell. The tooth is connected to my sinuses so now I have a tooth and sinus infection and the hospital nor my doctor can do anything. Waiting in extreme pain feeling like my entire right side wants to explode. Temple is throbbing, sinuses are throbbing, gums are throbbing, tooth is throbbing, roof of my mouth is throbbing. Thank you Canadian health care, BTW I do have insurance.

My grandpas upper both incisors fell off after a bike accident... he picked them and pushed them back... that was in 1995... he had his teeth until his death in 2015..

Almost all dentist are closed on evening, night, early morning
Most of them are also close on weekend
So if you lose your tooth at 10pm on friday. If youre very lucky there might maybe be a dentist clinic open on saturday 9am
Most cities including big cities dont have a 24 hours dentist
@@mathewvanostin7118I was one of the unlucky few to witness extreme tooth pain starting Friday. There are no dentist opened on the weekends where I am and the closest appointment I’m getting is Tuesday or Wednesday…I’m gonna just have to hold it through till then 😢

*Well, in the country that i live in, you can literally get an appointment with the dentist within minutes during the day.. If it's early in the morning the better cuz at that time there'd be fewer people, but during the day after 8/9 am, then only you'd have to wait for your turn, which would normally be like within 30 mins or so..*
I’ve used Zocdoc to make an appointment within a couple hours for a random pain that came out of nowhere, but idk about 30 minutes.

Dentists should accommodate emergency appointments at all times. In my dentist if you call with an emergency they'll see you immediately, although you have to pay for some reason. I had a tooth crack on a cusp, and they saw me within the hour and fixed it. It did however cost me €40 to get seen and have it fixed.

Do not do any of those or you have to do is get a paper towel wipe your moth if it’s the tooth is dirty clean it with an adult if it’s bleeding a lot put more paper towel on it. Keep doing it until the paper towels full blood or you can’t use it anymore. Put it in a plastic bag once it’s clean from an adult, put it under your pillow and leave it there.

Donot rinse the tooth with water it will kill the pdl cells in the root. Try to reposition the tooth within 15 mins. Milk,Saliva or saline is the best medium and visit your dentist within an hour.

A dentist can't replace an entire tooth. Even with the root intact they can't save the whole tooth so why would you save the tooth at all. Please show what the tooth looks like after and what they do because that's not done here in the United States

Fun fact : If you have a cavity and in pain, use clove oil with a cotton swab. Don't get the oil anywhere but on the cavity. It will burn. The oil will tie you over till you can get to the dentist.

2.find the tooth
3.get a tissue and bite on it while it's close to the tooth or space or something where the tooth fell out to stop the bleeding
4.put the tooth in a tissue then cover it
5.just tell the teacher, or ur mom/dad, or any adult you know so they can um help ig

If it's painful that there must be a crack on your tooth near the roots due to impact. With xray, your dentist will determine if extraction is need and put implant or it may be saved by root canal.

It’s not a joke. You do that to allow tooth to reattach to the jawbone. Your dentist will then just splint it to stabilize it. The tooth will eventually need a root canal though.

If u want a cheap tooth extraction u can call the health department on Mondays where I live to get a dentist appointment. An X-ray & extraction is $10-30. AND they will pull more than 1 tooth if they're bad enough. I had 8 top teeth pulled at once in 10seconds
