    Wow i wish this model will soon bel available in my country 🙏
    It looks soo good, and also practical for city use. Maybe i would rather a normal side mirrors that will come in my country bcs i preferred it that way 😂

  • @jeroendeclercq7580
    @jeroendeclercq7580 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why are those mirror cameras in the same spot normal sidemirrors would be, but then covered (from the driver's pov) by these ugly screens? Might as well have 'analog' mirrors, no? What's the point? They should have been placed underneath the car, making the car smaller.

  • @thelorax9622
    @thelorax9622 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the video - but why did you not measure the length behind the front seats with the second row flat? No-one does this - everyone seems obsessed with volume, which is a useless measure for most people (at least you did provide the other dimensions of the cargo area, thanks) If you have that figure, could you please reply as if it is not at least 6 feet (183cm), I can strike this car off my list of EV's.

  • @theexmann
    @theexmann 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I do not like that brown interior. At least in the video it looks more like a light mustard color. They should have chosen more of a coffee or latte color. I didn't know the center stripe in the V-shaped lighting feature was a charging indicator. Interesting. My favorite exterior color so far is silver because the bumper and side moulding blend in better with that color. Looks more streamlined. Great video.

  • @chuckwalla2967

    That side view camera system is very useful, but they need to do a better job of integration. Looks too tacky, both the cameras and the screens.

    Isn’t it a little troubling that the car cannot make those kinds of turns? Like if someone is trying to come behind you

    • @MotorgraphWorld

      Due to its long wheelbase, the turning radius is wide :-(

    Hmm... That wide turning radius puts me off somehow. The VW id4 is a bigger car and has a small turning radius. I hope the Kia ev6 does it better.

    • @Danne89

      It all depends on if its RWD or AWD. If you buy the AWD ID.4 it will have a bad turning radius too.

    Very nice external design, very boring interial design. Really good car btw, especially with the 800V voltage. The Hyundai chargers seems unnecessarily overdesigned.
    My problem is this car is too big, I hate this SUV and crossover mania, it's not environment friendy. Why don't they make simple, small electric cars with the same range and charging parameters? I don't need theese plenty of unnecessary extras.

    an electric car is even more of an expense .
    replacing a worn-out battery will be like half of this machine . unprofitable

      @@asrockrpg The Ioniq 5 has an electric-only powertrain that's available in two potencies. The rear-drive configuration generates 215 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which Hyundai says will propel the 5 from zero to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. The all-wheel-drive version is much more powerful, with 315 horses and a substantial 446 pound-feet, and quicker, too. It's said to catapult to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. It rides on the Electric Global Modular Platform (EGMP) so in layman terms, electric vehicles don't have a "transmission" since the power comes from the instantaneous torque from the electric motor.

    This car will be on my shortlist when they add the rear screen wash wipe they appear to have missed off. It's a hatchback and needs the ability to wash the bird poop off the screen after charging under trees. How many other hatchbacks are missing a wash wipe?

    • @Danne89
      @Danne89 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not a hatchback, it's a Crossover SUV just like Tesla Model Y that also lacks rear wiper. I agree though that it sucks without one. Both Hyundai and Tesla says "rain will get blow away by the aerodynamic shape" but what about all the dust, pollen and salty roads? I miss it too.

    I like everything about this BUT...turn signals seem too loud...perhaps the microphone is too close or it can be adjusted lower?
    Otherwise should do well...how many 800 volt chargers are in USA today, not many so far.

    who is tesla ???

    • @lmaoitsover
      @lmaoitsover 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You see, Teslas goal was never to dominate the car market (even though its good for them), Teslas ultimate goal was to accelerate the shift to EV cars. They were the first ones to go mainstream in the early 2010s with this stuff. The rest of the market is catching up just now, which is great.

    • @lollymanna

      Tesla,s goal is to make money just like every other company out there.
      And EV,s exusted before tesla. Like the Nissan leaf.
      Also, while electric cars are great, I hope we dont mine some of earth,s resources out of existence.

    • @lmaoitsover
      @lmaoitsover 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lollymanna im not sure your point makes sense. If teslas (elon musks) main goal was to make money, why would they jump into the EV market which was still very early at that time (remember they almost went bankrupt). In addition, why the hell would they invest so much in solar panels, the hyperloop, the tunnels. at a time when every company was afraid to make bold moves? Also, EVs before tesla were total shit. The Nissan Leaf has a shit range. It's no question teslas goal was to accelerate the jump into making EVs mainstream, which is what Elon himself said.
