      @someonesomewhere8265 well I play winch. But honestly if your close enough to get hit with charge and slam, and don't use any of the counters, you deserve to get hit hard. Kinda makes sense with the play style of the class.

    "Removed the ability to bypass manual action animations (such as using a bolt action or pump-action) by interrupting them"
    is a huge nerf you didn't mention. It destroyed things like Model quick melee and sniper close range melee
    BEFORE/AFTER is a great format though

      From reading this I thought it only fixed some reload cancel exploits like opening the mesh shield to bypass the SH reload animations, but sorry if I'm mistaken

      @@Jinko_ you should try it out, it gutted a bunch of weapons. Can't melee cancel any of the weapons that have an animation between the shots. It just plays the animation after the melee

      This was something that i was getting used and i accept it, but the Model nerf was a crime, embark destroyed my gun, they dont now how to balance the model😢

    As a heavy main, pretty bummed out about charge and slam getting a nerf, but lockbolt is now super good so I'm still happy. Great video, jinko!

      It's also still a great destruction asset. It's just not as good a "free kill panic button" as it was.

      I’m kinda sad about it too, but it was by far the best spec for heavy unless you play melee so it makes sense.

      @@MauziDerPimpnew players leave mostly because of lights, I assure you embark does NOT worry about new or casual players, light is the streamer class for solo sweats that’s why they buff them to make these randoms happy and also because “pros” don’t use them much so they wanna push them to use it.

    The Pike needed a buff so bad. Crazy had to shoot a light FOUR TIMES in the body for elim before. How do you hit a light who is evasive dashing everywhere FOUR TIMES with practically a sniper rifle?

      @@Jinko_ yep now its 3 body shots again to kill light. That should have never been changed. It def was too OP starting with 59 dmg in S4, but nerfed all the way to 47 was crazy.

      @@jagga-jagga I still think it's going to be just as annoying to play against as in the start of S4. after all it can still 3-shot a Light up to 40+ meters which is kind of insane if you ask me, but i haven't played against it so i guess we'll have to see how it plays out

      Yet we need 3 body shots for r.357 to kill a light too. That's 50% of the mag size.

    I don’t give a fuck about light players dude it’s been 5 seasons of nerfing everything in the game in favor of lights just so Timmy and his friend Bobby can lock in light and go 0/7 in my lobby trying to be shroud

    bro its like they only want us to play lights. the whole point of charge was to punish light players and enemies for either getting too close, having bad positioning or ex lights losing their momentum. it was a good thing to keep the damage, lights are supposed to move and therefor if they stand still, they got punished. same goes for all classes

      CNS could kill a heavy, as a hammer mains i despised CnS players more then stun gun.

      charge and slam was a panic button free kill.
      It’s intended to be a destructive force rather than an attack. Similar to DMat but still able to do damage.
      It’s not even a huge nerf anyways. If you hit shots prior to the charge you’ll still kill the opponent in 1-2 hits.
      I hate to say it but this is a skill issue bro. Get good lollll

Why don't you talk about server issues, quality of game changes. Play what you hate and what you think it's OP. You'll get to know that the game thrives on Chaos and you have to strategically adopt every moment with your team. Period

    The "basically doesn't really matter that much" model nerf breaks every damage threshhold with a quick melee. You can no longer kill a light with 1 shot 1 melee or medium with 2 shots 1 melee. You also completely missed the part where they removed animation cancelling shotgun pumps with a quick melee, which hits model the hardest as it currently heavily relies on quick melees to kill after the initial nerf.

    As a heavy main, and South African player with a minimum of 160 ping, charge and slam is very difficult to hit enemy players with. The only time I could get consistent hits with it, is on unsuspecting players, or from behind.
    I dont think the charge and slam needed a nerf, especially considering the oppressive power of daggers, swords and double barrels.

      It needed the nerf and pretty badly at that.
      I think Charge and Slam is utilized the best for casual players because they somehow knock my ass with it pretty easily while I use it with tactics and strategic approach, however this specialization does not need it since it is literally a panic button advantage.

      A good cns heavy can spin 180 degrees on a dime and slap you against a wall 3 times. It's a fine nerf. Still does good damage.

    in the gameplay section they removed the ability to skip pump action on SA12 be doing melee now it will just do the pump after you do the melee : (

      Build a light class with grapple. High damage weapon,
      Smoke (to fuck with their aim assist)

    The heal beam sound is genuinely a huge and deserved buff, it allows you to juggle teammates more efficiently, especially if they’ve only taken small amounts of damage through gas or fire.

    As a ks23 main, not only they nerfed the winch(which is very sad) they also got rid of quick melee combo I do for example: winch, shotgun, melee which USED cancels the cock reload. Now I’m lost and idk what to use on Heavy 😣 ks23 is fun to use but the nerf to the combo makes it more harder than what it needs to be

      @HawaiianRolls808 I'm in the exact same boat. We got double nerfed and even with winch, 1 shot, and 1 quick melee didn't even kill a light already. Honestly I don't think embark cares or will ever listen to the community that isn't light players.

    imo altho not as bad as VRs, a "ticket part" is an insane idea for basically a wasted spin, i spend an entire ticket just to get unlucky, and I can't even get a re-roll with an entire day's worth of tickets. It's FOMO scum, which is something embark has almost sworn against since the start of the closed betas.
    It feels further and further like embark's slowly trying to milk whats left of their playerbase as subtly as they can before Nexon stomps their budget.

    I'm the sword guy super excited by that niche change! Holding right click after vaulting used to be super inconsistant if you tried to do it too quickly after the vault so this is actually huge.

    So personally i think a more significant buf would be changing the damage on heavy weapons so that their is am actual difference in damage between the m60 and lewis. Currently with the Shak theres no need to use it. I also think flamethrower should do less damage to players and turrets so it feels less spray and pray and more skill based

    The first patch for the CL-40 is a potential nerf as well because it makes it more difficult to get direct hits since the projectile radius is smaller.

      @@mrproclamation9095 To get max damage, yes you do. Without them it is very difficult to 3-shot mediums and 4-shot heavies. Also the radius is important for getting air shots, they are now more difficult to hit

    Great vid! Really good job covering everything.
    I just wished they buffed the flamethrower... increase its range by a meter or 2 and add one or two more ticks of DoT to it. That gives it a chance against dashing lights, a leveled playing field against shotguns (making the fight much more reliant on aim and movement rather than just having the distance to get damage.)

    i like this format, keep it up, there's room for improvement but its great, showing before and after, it could use further details but that requires u to have the full data and stats of weapons, gadgets...etc
    for example, showing the time to kill with the model 1887, before and after...
    anyways, I watched it after I read all the notes and played and still learned more and enjoyed watching the vid, it was great so! thanks for that

    Guardian turret is very big buff. You can "heal" your turret very very quickly now by picking it up and dropping it again. Sounds like it'll be frustrating to deal with, but melee medium with turret will have fun

    Only thing I could suggest would be for damage breakpoint comparisons for weapons with damage changes. For example, I heard that the LH1 still kills in the same shots with the damage nerfs. A side by side for that could be useful in proving/demonstrating this. Thanks again!

      I actually recorded all of them but 1) it was very tedious to edit 2) it did not look great because I did not have the same camera angles / fire rates / movement in the before and after footage, so I just gave up showing them. :(

      The lower damage does kill in the exact same amount of shots in its optimal range. Though those 2 less points of damage are more meant to reduce it's range. I believe while this affects nothing in optimal range, it definitely has an effect at longer ranges.

    I've seen a lot of backlash about that charge and slam nerf (btw charge and slam can be spelled as 'CnS') and I get it, but I also see some reasons for that, which many people seem to miss. The biggest one is tuning down the now obvious combo that is charge on lockbolted enemies, since they have so little room to maneuver. As you said it's now also less 'push button and kill people' and it reqiures more prep, some kind of damage beforehand and then charge them to finish. That being said, 2 things.
    1. It needs some compensation for people who wont be using without lockbolt. Many people suggested damage reduction, for me interesting idea is debuff/cc cleanse on use (stuff like lockbolt, taser, flash, maybe even burn).
    2. People seem to don't care and still use it as 'push button and kill people', and proceed to die every single time, as if it dealt less damage than normally (go figure). I'm healing you people and you think that makes you invincible (roll credits). Well it doesn't and you are gonna kill one light at best, and that's if you hit 3 times, which is not so likely

    It would be cool if the taser worked like Ana's sleep dart in Overwatch, where you get out of the state if you take any damage. Maybe also make it so you take less damage while tased so they can't set up easy one shots.
    It could be compensated by making the taser easier to hit with shotgun spread or give it two shots like the real taser it's based on.
    It could also be compensated by making the effect better in other ways, buff the length or make it so the tased person can't shoot or give it the glitch effect too, You'd definitely have to put in the resistance if you want this, though.
    I want it to be more of an escape tool or a thing to create distance between other lights or melee characters. Not as a way to get free kills on loadouts that require mobility to do anything

    Not a fan of all the nerfs. I try to dabble in all 3 classes, and things felt pretty good, some guns being on the weaker feeling side like the pike and cerberus. The buffs are appreciated, but nerfs feel uncalled for.

      Charge and Slam nerf is very welcome and I main all three builds as well.
      Winch nerf is very bad.
      Some nerfs are objectively terrible while some others are objectively good.
