    James Beacham is a experimental high-energy particle physicist with the ATLAS Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, where he sifts through the largest unique dataset in human history looking for exotic Higgs bosons, dark photons, gravitons, dark matter, extra dimensions, quantum black holes, and answers to the most baffling open questions of science. He is currently a post-doc with the Ohio State University. He did his PhD at New York University. He lives in Geneva and misses bagels back home in New York.

    A two dimensional plane is a space enclosed by a line and line is the path of of a moving point. The most beautiful things can not be seen or touched, they can also be felt by the heart intuitively.

      This 2D slice represents the whole 3D space ... for you and me NOW. The arrow that goes in 3rd dimension represents a hypothetical 4th, SPATIAL (not time) dimension in which gravity is leaking into. So, like is the way we experience time without feeling it like a dimension (time "leaks" in 4th known but not spacial dimension), in such a way we may experiencing gravity in 3D space (and gravity leaks in a 4th spatial dimension).???

    can this machine revive a dead body? colliding atoms or protons/electron/and neutron? because it seems to me that if that statue of beersheeva at the end of the tunnel is her real life statue from when she died from extremely hot lava falling from the sky, she can still be revived according to quantum physics

    ATTENTION We need more physicists to focus on how we can use these discoveries to save the planet... too often our greatest minds go off into scientific abstraction or corporate interests instead of looking out for the greater good of everyone (including non human life) whos life and environment is under constant threat. We need to come together to save the Earth from human-caused extinction.

      simpel if you have mutiple loops sizes and magnets in them and can reduce a electon from one size ring to other making the particle haver in the coners as stated in the video about how the cilider works one can then make energy expanentel just by colecting the magnetic affect after speeding up and traping the electron in a smaller ring next step to creat a motion casusing ring to ride along the fring of gravtys push pull affect if that makes sence

  • @robertdseals1
    @robertdseals1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    what if forces have a total effect. Electromagnetism is strong at a short distance but disappears at a long distance. Gravity is week, but can be felt at a great distance.

      gravaty on ars planet is compresed energy compressd by the mass of are planet one could beleve it to be as if it cannot be compesesd. and time has no hold on energey. is to why gravaty affcets things much farther away the crust and elements of are planet are compressed by all the other elaments pushing aginst each othrrs elaments on a macro levele in the center ther being the zone wher compreson is highst like in a einstines bom if compresed to much a recation happens that is a chane reaction couesing election to split eplotion of energy so effecrivly this eplotion is allways happneing and always not happening like the calaps of a dwiff star or a eplotion of a super nova always happaning at the same time all the time casing the curve in time or time dialation of gravaty

    I tend not to believe there are higher dimensions. They are analogy to Aether 100 years ago which was kicked out by general relativity. It's likely that we made up some mathematical stuff to try to fit general relativity and quantum mechanics. Later we might find out they are very limited even in their own fields.

      I also have a problem with Quantum Physics. It seems to me that it's just a lazy man's way of avoiding the infinities encountered with analog. Don't like infinity? Just quantize it! No more analog. Don't worry about the consequences. That'll be worked out as we go. Just believe it.

  • @mickeyc734
    @mickeyc734 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    One more point is that, we are living in 3 spatial dimention world. Have you ever seen or heard of a true 2 spatial dimention world? No. It's merely a hypothetical concept. The same thing here, why there must be a higher dimension world if, as 3D intellegent species, you can't even find a closed 2D world?

    • @dennisr.levesque2320
      @dennisr.levesque2320 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wonder if ideas/concepts can also be quantized? Would they be called idions, or concepticles? How do you get a space-time quanta? By fusing an upticle, righticle, backticle and a timetron together. That produces a 4D quanta. However, I don't think that concepticle will fit into any quanticle.

    A very clever way of saying 'we don't know s**t yet' and a very expensive way of finding out.
    In a conscious universe, the reality of existence plays hide and seek, truth cannot be found but only reveal itself.

    Why they don’t take advantage of the boson particules collides to generate heat and replace the nuclear bombardment energy... I want to understand if this futon collision can generate any kind of power.. since he said this collide power can spread into space !?

    • @dildoshwagins2222
      @dildoshwagins2222 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Med Amine Sahli so fusion works the same way and the energy is dependent on the particles forced into each other now energy is in multiple forms again depending on the particles is produces X-rays gamma radiation photons/ scratch that I just remembered man some can create gravitational fields element 115 was one of these enough said.

    what if exists a "time" particle? a graviton and a timetron hahaha

    • @dennisr.levesque2320
      @dennisr.levesque2320 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, if you think about it, a cube the size of a plank-length (a quanta volume) could be called a space-icle. Therefore a quanta of space-time could be produced by colliding a timetron and a space-icle to get a trace-icle.

    Gravity doesn't exist. It's called "density" and "buoyancy"...

    • @Taioron
      @Taioron 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In buoyancy, the pressure within the fluid increases with depth, from the weight of the fluid above it. Weight IS the measure of gravitational force. By admitting buoyancy exists, it needs gravity.

    You cannot define a field with numbers. There is NO particles in a field. You cannot define a field by itself , in itself or of itself. It cannot be quantified ie to count. All fields are an ether prodibation modality. A electron or proton has never been defined. Atomist have waisted trillions of dollars on nothing but B.S.. You have never seen any protons or electrons collide. Lets see the actual pictures. Not graphics. How does a wireless charge induction happen inside a vacuum? Bumping particles is a joke. Steinmetz, Tesla, Faraday, Heaviside all knew there is no such thing as electric particle. Its all about money. A mathematician hates anything it cannot count, so they had to reach out into myths and distortions of reality to try and define something they cannot prove in anyway. "The Field" The atom is an electrostatic dynamo, the most basic being hydrogen which is the most fundamental building blocks of all matter or super high energy light, kept in check by the either (today's dark matter) or electro static charge or shell which are held together by harmonic resonances at such high speeds they cannot be considered a practical of any type. As Ludacris as unicorns and fairy dust.
