People need to start giving credits to the bones staff for coming through in such a great fashion. They've given us the best season of mha and have been able to elevate the mha manga in such a great way. JUST AMAZING😭
Gotta say, I wasn’t expecting to cry more than the last episode, but here we are. Toga’s finally getting the validation that she needed all this time. Wish they could’ve met sooner, since Uraraka’s really got a heart of gold.
Sadly true. People will be like "there's no fighting, it's so boring, I don't care about girls in love, I just want fighting" it's so sad how people don't understand that heartfelt moments like this keep the series leveled instead of just being fight simulator
@prithvirajk2013 The crimes and lives she's affected can't be undone, but to take everything at face value like that is crazy. If you can't understand the deeper meaning behind ochachos' actions, or the cause of why toga is the way she is, then that's on you.
This was such a dope episode! I give major props to Bones for elevating what the manga did in this season. And they did this storyline so much justice. I underestimated The Uraraka and Toga storyline and when I read it in the manga, I was blown away by how good it actually was. Bones deserves massive props for how they’ve been cooking this season up. It’s really feeling like seasons 1,2,3 and 4 again.
The VAs and character acting animation was INSANE this episode, it really did feel like I was watching a mini movie a certain points. Got me emotional and teary eyed multiple time throughout the episode. At this point, I gotta assume that they're gonna absolutely pop off for All Might like they did the Todorokis and Ochako/Toga, especially with how much they've been teasing it. Its the final episode of the season too, so I'm willing to bet they're gonna go out with just as big of a bang as these last few episodes! Really though, this whole season has just been a delight, all they need to do now is stick the landing and this'll officially become my new favorite season. Awesome reaction Mighty, very much anticipating the next episode and your reaction especially!
I didn't even cry for this when i read the manga, just feel overwhelmed sad but not crying but that's why I'm so shocked i'm SOBBING here for this episode, same like previous episode 😂
I still remember how pleasantly surprised I was reading these chapters. Horokoshi wrote them so beautifully and Studio Bones nailed it once again. I'm an emotional mess 😭
It was so good. I knew I'd tear up because the whole toga and ochako thing was one of my favorite and most heartfelt moments in the whole final arc. But damn, it almost had me bawling
*Toga’s story is a sad one. Even with everything that she’s done, at her core, Toga isn’t some horrible monster looking to destroy everything that people hold dear. She’s someone who wanted to feel love, and to be loved by others. Bur she was never given the chance to actually learn and express love in a healthy way. Right now, Uraraka is the only person who has accepted her for who she is.*
loved this episode! I'm going to be seeing the 4th movie on Thursday, and then have to deal with the season finale Saturday. It's wild the way that all lined up
I only wish that the conclusion was included in this episode cause I wanted to get all the sad tears out this week before the glorious finale next week, but this episode was superb nonetheless. EDIT: It still works wonderfully since the episode didn't stop halfway through a chapter or anything. I misremembered when I initially wrote this comment and thought that was the case, but the part about getting all the sad tears out still applies lol.
@@taqresu5865 This episode ended right where chapter 394 ends. In any case I do hope that the next episode covers up until the end of 403 but I don't know how realistic that is.
The froppy clone fighting the real one as she talks about rules looks a lot like Kermit the frog at some points imo, that was probably the intention since it's Toga's puppet
spoiler free this ep covers the last page of ch 390 - 394, yeah a fantastic episode with an amazing va from ochako and toga actors the volume cover is of toga pulling off purple and blue goo from her face and chest i don't get how people interpret ochako and toga dynamic as romantic because it was clearly not the intention because there dynamic was ochako coming to understand her nemesis and how similar they both are plus ochako understands toga quirk which made her have this craving to suck blood to express her love (she was never bi or pan) and her abuse from.her parents about how she is not human and she must suppress her quirk didn't help but warp her perspective on love but ochako wants to help her and offer her blood to her so she wil never need to hurt anybody ever again and to protect her like her family should have done and in a way becoming like an protective sister to toga originally when ochako got stabbed in the middle of her gut but was later changed to the side of her gut, i can tell you when the panel of ochako getting stabbed dropped that day in july last year, the reaction online was wild also, when ochako said "then i fell in love with izuku midoriya" it started a shipping war online with izuocha celebrating and certain togachako being in denial saying she doesn't love deku anymore and she is in love with toga (i m not a shipper ) also a certain togachako claim mina and curious (blue skinned mla lady) gaslight ochako and toga into thinking they were in love with izuku which still baffles me to this day the demonic looking toga appeared as a piece of art for the mha art exhibition before it appeared in the manga when ochako quirk awakened in the manga leaks , i originally assumed those pink bubbles that were appearing were coming from ochako fingertips and were causing the twice's to float but the official scans showed the ochako the float effect spreading through all the twice clones anime added : anime added two extra shots of the twice clone army spreading ochako making the twice army float was partly extended the anime added a lot of different perspective shots of ochako and toga floating anime removed: the anime removes the panel of deku when ochako talks about not bottling up her feelings
I've always felt like my hero animation has missed the "FEEL" of the manga. it's like someone whos good at drawing with a references and getting it down, but isn't as great at the details and lighting and coloring. Season 1 and 2 they matched the manga, but ever since it's been a game of catch up with horikoshi and they've been laps behind for ages. NOW this season is where they caught up and even over took his art, which is impressive to say the least. If next season is like this one, my hero academia will rest peacefully. what ive hated most is how all the hate died out in pathetic tiny squeal and slow fade into the darkness, but the hype and well deserved high praise about the animation isn't as loud as the hate was.
Couldn't hear your voice at all when I synced the episode with your reaction. Your voice is not copyrighted, isn't it?😅 Well, if it's TH-cam, it might be.
I hope they pull a Demon Slayer, and make the finale an hour long episode. I want them to cover the second half of Chapter 395 all the way up to Chapter 402, because I don't want to miss any of it.

The VA work this episode needs to be praised more. Toga with her anger and Uraraka's desperation to reach out were perfectly conveyed.

Man I forgot the manga has shorter page during this arc. We blazing through to the finale!
One of the best ep in this season
I cried in the manga and i cried today
i'd read the manga for this part prior to watching the episode out of curiosity and the animation was so much more emotional 😭

That would've meant cutting something from the fight though, so I prefer this even if the finale may suffer from some tonal whiplash.
Well it does end halfway through 395, but that's ok. I just hope the finale is an hour long, because I want them to get to 402.

Remember Momo. Not yaorozu but that viral art project statue thing that got famous some years ago
Honestly my favourite episode in this whole season
I love toga so so much man
Doomed yuri at its finest rn😭
Deku Overlay / Carnage Mode being the biggest thing in the next season. We might not see it in the finale.

THIS IS IN MY TOP 3 EPISODES. 😭
Best anime episode since Deku vs Overhaul.

In my opinion
Ep 19 top 1
Ep 20 top 2
Me in the next episode: noo!?!! Toga!!!😭😭😭 oh shit peakkk!!!!!🔥🔥🔥

I hope they end this season with peak , if you read the manga they prob gonna leave it when a certain character comes back
i dont know when its going to end aye cause thats quite a bit of chapters away still so who knows.
they wont, thats ch403 and this season ends around 398 (you can see the final panel of 398 in the preview)
Bones havent treated mha this good since S4. Congrats🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏

also a certain togachako claim mina and curious (blue skinned mla lady) gaslight ochako and toga into thinking they were in love with izuku which still baffles me to this day
the demonic looking toga appeared as a piece of art for the mha art exhibition before it appeared in the manga
when ochako quirk awakened in the manga leaks , i originally assumed those pink bubbles that were appearing were coming from ochako fingertips and were causing the twice's to float but the official scans showed the ochako the float effect spreading through all the twice clones

ochako making the twice army float was partly extended
