This movie, filmed in the Cape Cod village of Dennisport (or Dennis Port), first went by the name of "Mrs. Worthington's Party" before it was changed to "Noelle." Kerry Wall (Mrs. Worthington) is David Wall's wife. Unlike most faith-based Christmas movies, this is thought-provoking, well acted, and manages to escape the stereotypical Christmas movie tropes.
I am not Catholic, but I was really taken by surprise when the priest, Robert Redford, came out of the confessional and told the woman he knew what he knew about her. Very interesting perspectives in this film.
I'm not Catholic and I worship my Jesus Christ who gave His life for the sins of everyone. I'm glad the Nan quit pretending something he was not. So miracles happened in many way. A pretty good movie.
No relation to Robert Redford. Actor is David Wall, his wife (in real life) played the baby's mum and the little girl "Noelle" was played by their daughter Brennan..
We have the same like this kind of priest in our parish. He drinks and smokes but we don’t see that as a problem because our priest is also human too. We didn’t judge him. But every time he celebrates the mass he’s different and we respect the way he celebrates the mass. He was reassigned to another parish until we heard he died due to liver cirrhosis.
I love this beautiful film, divinely inspired, always makes me cry, full of love and the Holy Spirit 💜🕊️🙏
The priest looks a little Robert Redford!
Coincidence? Maybe not as this film has plot similarities to the '66 Redford film 'This Property Is Condemned'
Think he is Robert Redford's son.or grandson.
It is
Yeah I was thinking the same thing.. and Robert Redford does have a son who happens to look just like him ❤❤
I thought that it was a young Robert Redford at first, but as soon as he talked I knew that it wasn't him! But he sure could pass for a double!!!
An intense film, worth watching. The little girl is only seen once, and for a good reason.
The sarcastic conversation and wit in the first half of the movie is just so much fun to watch! A wonderful ending!
The Mighty GOD even the LORD has spoken
GOD has called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
JESUS loves you
A film worth watching! Not superficial..

Actually after looking at the entire movie the priest doesn't look as much like Robert Redford' as I thought.

Yes, he does: his hair, his face shape, and facial expressions.

Why couldn't the manger be inside.

Strange story
He's just too handsome to focus in God. That's where the problem comes.

The parish priest is ridiculous. No wonder the parish is failing.
