i really love this set design (unsure what else to call it) it really conveys that vulnerable helpless feeling you get during a nightmare. No barriers between you and the thing you’re scared of, yet it’s always just a bit too far away to touch you. I also love the more realistic, gritty style on this one. Such a treat visually. And of course the sound design is incredible, as usual! I fell asleep to this last night. Love all the sounds, and imagining what they could be.
I remember having a dream as a kid that I was downstairs in my family kitchen in the middle of the night - but because I was dreaming, it seemed eerie and just a little bit…wrong. This one really reminds me of the feeling I got from that dream.

Being so close with the window open makes it so genuinely scary not to mention the hand reaching for the poster that really creeps me out. Amazing work, love this one so much the movement of the cat is so real looking too.

The ambience of this one is stunning! The sounds are something out of a horror movie, combined with the floor creaking and creature growling. And another brilliant concept! There’s a Chills video from years ago where a small creature comes across the screen in the video and Chills says “if I saw that thing in my living room, I’d stomp on it till it was a small brown stain” and as soon as I saw the freaking creature in the first 15 seconds I thought of that. Looking at this on an LCD TV and at first I couldn't see the figure outside the window at all except it's eyes. I also thought the tail on the fridge was a tentacle or something, lol. Then I stood up and looked at my monitor from a higher angle and could see it was just a cat. 😅
