I hope you are planning to run exhaust out the back. The reason I say this is I have a small leak in my exhaust manifold at the back of the head toward the firewall and you can’t ride it in the Jeep long even with the doors off as the exhaust fumes damn near kill ya. You think it being an open vehicle this wouldn’t be an issue but man o man it definitely is. Great vid thanks for sharing!👍
I actually sold that engine before it made it's way into anything but I agree. The 57 I had had a Lima 2.3 that ran a little rich. Even with no top youd catch a buzzzzzzz
It wouldn't have been bad but these engine are notorious for their distributor locking in place like this one. I was setting the timing with the oil pump lol
@@GreaseRookie nope. Just a backyard mechanic lol I hope to run a small shop at some point but haven't made it that far. I dknt have any schooling in video or automotive lol. Just a gear head
Good job on the oil that’s the most common thing I see people screw up because without it being thicker like that it can’t take up the loose tolerances
sounds great!

Eppy's chop shop I’ve watched a few of your older podcasts but never caught what your background is in. Do you run your own shop full-time?
