this is a huge improvement. until evony realizes we are having to much fun and they nerf it. I get 0 now on B16 and 17k on b17 for wounded. another guy on our server is getting 6700 wounded for b17 this is crazy but how will it effect getting hit in PVP? i can solo 1b power barb castles no sweat now. there might be a catch 22 we dont know about yet. but so far so good. especially training generals

I have 266k T11 Mounted troops. Before my wounded troops is around 6k when dealing with Junior Bayard and Junior Cereberus. But now with main general Martinus alongside with asst general Jet Li... I mean Li Jing I got 0 wounded. It's awesome.
There is a bug, well atleast I think it’s bug because I don’t think they intended it work this way. Ok so here is a scenario, you have one Nathanael Greene and lets say you have two Cleopatras. You sent your Cleopatra sith Greene as asistant to join Ymir3 to reduce the stanima cost as well as get a double drop chance from Cleopatras main skill. The rally has started, 5 minutes are done and the rally has started marching towards that Ymir. If you go and try to join another rally, lets say you send your other Cleopatra on that one, and go and put an assistant general you will see you will be able to put Greene again. Despite you having only one general it looks like once the rally starts marching you can use your assistsnt general on other rallies as well.
The reason Martinus & Li Jing work with Hannibal & Roland, but not with each other isn’t bc they have a single skill. Look at the phrasing. Both Hannibal & Roland’s main skill is “when leading the army TO ATTACK”, while Martinus & Li Jing’s skill is “when leading the army” which is not conditional to attacking and also works when defending and reinforcing. Most, but not all, pvp attack generals have the “on attack” condition. The best combinations are pairing one general with a non-conditional skill (ie: not “on attack”) with one with a conditional skill (ie: “on attack”).
That’s interesting, but I think it has more to do with the skill. I’ve seen several combinations where both are the same type. Of course this won’t apply to all generals but it’s interesting to keep in mind. Will keep checking it out 👍

The first thing I’d say is for you to decide who you want as your main general: Elektra or Simeon. Once you have decided that, then you can decide on what to do with assistants. If you pick Simeon, then all you need to do is to find an assistant general that will work well with Simeon. But in your case though, if you did that, you’d probably waste both Elektra and Kaguya. So it’s really your choice. My advice: continue using Elektra and Kaguya for now and keep your Simeon. If later in the future you decide to switch to Simeon and you have a good assistant for him, it’ll be easier for you to make that switch then. 🙂👌

She not as bad as people think, but granted, she’s not the best ranged general, or best sub general either, so a lot of people don’t use her. I’ve got both Minamoto and Elektra, so I’ll probably switch at some point, but still having fun with Himiko for now 🥰🥰

That’s definitely an option. The way I geared up my boss generals, they all have the luck book and the luck ring, so I can’t double up with Baibars or Cleopatra. But if you don’t have those, this new feature certainly makes adding them for double drops possible 👌

I passed on the last one since I have yet to break 250m (Still betting military buildings to 35) and the opposing server had 2 40s in the same alliance that were 19B. Recently I thought about a Leo & Taylor system since Taylor helps with Ranged and using books to help with Ground & Mounted (plus refines). Leo has unlocked all 4 of his abilities if that makes any difference. Teylor (and Dewey) still need work. I have yet to try either Leo & Dewey OR Leo & Taylor in combat due to my strength. Or is Dewey & Taylor the only prayer someone has in today's system?

I made Shajar an assistant general and her buff box wasn’t glowing. Only when she’s the main general does her buff box glow. At least for me. It’s not greyed out so I guess it still works. 🤷🏿♂️

I wouldn’t mind doing an update video at some point, but It’s still a bit early to really know how the assistant generals will affect skill book choices imo. I’ve been thinking of several combinations for generals since yesterday, and tbh, they are still pretty much standard. So will need more time to experiment with the new system 🙂
I feel like the improvement is too good for what the limitations are supposed to be. My highest boss was a Kamaitachi with 2k wounded, now I can kill a behemoth with only 10k wounded. I use my PvP mounted general with Theo as assistant, her attack and defense against monster skillbooks are the only thing that should be contributing. I worry they will say there is an error and send us backward again.
for example, sending two generals gathering who both have the skill to bring back extra RSS. They both bring back extra yet according to the explanation of the limitations they shouldn't because their skill is the same
Right now, Evony already sent out a mail saying that some fixes have been made. Naturally we’ll expect some bugs and issues on the first day of roll out, and of course, it’s Evony, so ...😅😅 But all in all, it’s been looking like this update has been well received by most people. There’s a lot of excitement around. If Evony are smart, they should let the current vibe carry on for as long as possible
Hey Aka You R The Only On TH-cam Who Can Help Me, I'm Still Getting Wounded From Junior Cerbri Even With A March Size Of 505k T11 With Mounted Research Maxed And I'm Using Martinus With Fully Upgraded Dragon Armour
And here I am, with this new assistant feature, I'm killing cerb/bayard 1s and B11s with 200k t9 cav and getting only around 3k wounded (without buff items/skill books). Theodora with Sanada/Hernando as assistant is poor man's Aethelflaed now. 😂 If you're getting wounded with 500k t11 cav on a cerb 1, your main general is probably lacking in cultivation and/or your main general gears aren't good.
Yeah, I checked that out and it didn’t work. Jindeok and Lucy works though 👍 And info I got from someone, Jindeok and Shimazu Yoshihiro also work (but for Food) 👍

It’s probably the combination of generals/skill books you are using. So far, the skill books definitely do apply. Try switching up your generals and testing it out a bit more 👌

@@AD-jd3og Re-tested and confirmed. Skill books do apply 👍 Just make sure that the books on the assistant general aren't like-for-like with the main general otherwise they won't apply. If you look at the assistant general, the books will be greyed out if they don't apply 👌
@@AD-jd3og Depends on the stacking. If the assistant's skill is greyed out and inactive, click on it and it will tell you which skill of the main is same as that and hence doesn't apply. For example, Barbarossa's primary skill "Bloody Leader" is considered the same as a march size skill book, so an assistant with that book will not stack with him.
@@Anon_581 A few of us have tested and the march increase skill books are not increasing the march size when on a assistant general... Only the specialties with a march increase on the assistant general...

I can’t trust evony giving us any good thing for free. I’m guessing they are expecting people to rally huge bosses and running out of stamina quicker, so then they can sell stamina packs🤣 Only time can tell what is their true objective with this change tho haha

It’s always better when people spending money as a result of enjoyment and hard grinding, not because of the fear of being left behind 😅 But rightly so, I think we all suspect that there will be some adjustments made to this thing very soon. In fact, Evony just sent a mail out right now saying that an issue with the Assistant General feature “has been fixed” 😑🤔 What issue that was...🤷♂️ Let’s just hope that they have some sense and allow us to have our fun. @@RedEvony No it's not useless, it has a minor buff, which means another thing that puts the big spenders ahead of everyone else.Another thing you have to spend insane amount of various resources into in order to have. A final nail in the coffin ? For a lot in my alliance, myself included, it might be! We're certainly done spending!
I made Shajar an assistant general and her buff box wasn’t glowing. Only when she’s the main general does her buff box glow. At least for me. It’s not greyed out so I guess it still works. 🤷🏿♂️
I checked the numbers and her skill is not glowing but it still applies
@@thespacesbetweenstudio3346 yes i panicked a bit when I didn’t see the glow. When you I pressed the assistant general attribute boost it’s not greyed out. ☺️

I wouldn’t mind doing an update video at some point, but It’s still a bit early to really know how the assistant generals will affect skill book choices imo.
I’ve been thinking of several combinations for generals since yesterday, and tbh, they are still pretty much standard. So will need more time to experiment with the new system 🙂
I feel like the improvement is too good for what the limitations are supposed to be. My highest boss was a Kamaitachi with 2k wounded, now I can kill a behemoth with only 10k wounded. I use my PvP mounted general with Theo as assistant, her attack and defense against monster skillbooks are the only thing that should be contributing. I worry they will say there is an error and send us backward again.
for example, sending two generals gathering who both have the skill to bring back extra RSS. They both bring back extra yet according to the explanation of the limitations they shouldn't because their skill is the same
Right now, Evony already sent out a mail saying that some fixes have been made.
Naturally we’ll expect some bugs and issues on the first day of roll out, and of course, it’s Evony, so ...😅😅
But all in all, it’s been looking like this update has been well received by most people. There’s a lot of excitement around. If Evony are smart, they should let the current vibe carry on for as long as possible
@@RedEvony sadly after the "fix" I am back to 2k wounded on a Kamaitachi 😂 There are certainly still advantages, just not quite as fun as it first was
Ive been having alot of success pairing Aeth with Gaius, i took 6k wounded on a B14 and sent 630k t13 mounted

What is the Total power of your march that you are sending? If its 16M or over you should kill it no problem.
And here I am, with this new assistant feature, I'm killing cerb/bayard 1s and B11s with 200k t9 cav and getting only around 3k wounded (without buff items/skill books). Theodora with Sanada/Hernando as assistant is poor man's Aethelflaed now. 😂
If you're getting wounded with 500k t11 cav on a cerb 1, your main general is probably lacking in cultivation and/or your main general gears aren't good.

I have only found that the specialties apply... Not the skill books... Evony wants you to spend money to buy runes...
It’s probably the combination of generals/skill books you are using.
So far, the skill books definitely do apply.
Try switching up your generals and testing it out a bit more 👌

Just make sure that the books on the assistant general aren't like-for-like with the main general otherwise they won't apply. If you look at the assistant general, the books will be greyed out if they don't apply 👌
@@AD-jd3og Depends on the stacking. If the assistant's skill is greyed out and inactive, click on it and it will tell you which skill of the main is same as that and hence doesn't apply. For example, Barbarossa's primary skill "Bloody Leader" is considered the same as a march size skill book, so an assistant with that book will not stack with him.
@@Anon_581 A few of us have tested and the march increase skill books are not increasing the march size when on a assistant general... Only the specialties with a march increase on the assistant general...

I can’t trust evony giving us any good thing for free. I’m guessing they are expecting people to rally huge bosses and running out of stamina quicker, so then they can sell stamina packs🤣 Only time can tell what is their true objective with this change tho haha
Tbh if that were the case, then that’s actually good! It’s always better when people spending money as a result of enjoyment and hard grinding, not because of the fear of being left behind 😅
