Can I just say that it's terrifying how quickly modern trucks can come to a stop in an emergency? Decelerating 40 tons from 80 to 0 in a short distance is incredible.
Fun fact, as long as the brakes have enough power the stopping distance has nothing to do with the vehicle's weight. How fast can a car (or a truck) stop is determined by the tire's grip which conveniently increased linearly by the weight.
My Grand dad was a truck driver, he used to drive those 22 wheeled trucks, and was a mechanic also. I reckon he could know the problem of any vehicle just by it's sound. I remember that even back in the day when trucks didn't have all those technologies (from the 50's until the late 70's), Volvo trucks where amazing. There are three things in live that holds my passion: Trucks, motorcycles and cats. And Volvo trucks are just the best. He's not here anymore... I miss him. But every time I drive or see anything truck related, I remember him fondly....

Speaking with Christian Von Koenigsegg and his team at Geneva was a real pleasure, especially when we're given even more details about their greatest car to date. The first interesting factoid is that the One:1 actually weighs less than a Mini Cooper. Seriously, a freakin' Mini!
