@TheAbjons Olu has summarised the meaning of the song better than anyone can. To put it in context, this was the kind of track that was played at home by the stressed-out husband when wifey was giving him trouble.. Without confronting her the song was doing the talking for him (going to great length to point out all of her faults). A well-loved song amongst the boys.. enjoyed to fullest whilst sipping a cold bottle of beer in the "beer parlour" (the local equivalent of a pub/winebar)
@TheAbjons Iyawo means wife. He opened by saying: oh wife, stop giving me stress (kill me), that the relationship is very temperamental - 1 minute they are in love, the next they are fighting . He said that he doesn't like a wife that plays the field; a wife that is disrespectful; a wife that is not serious about commitment / relationship. He also highlighted that though a woman can be very beautiful, but if she has a bad attitude & is rude, then what's the worth. Rest in Peace Baba Thanks Olu
