    Chingiz Allazov is the current ONE Championship Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion. The Belarusian Fighter holds a kickboxing record of 61 wins with only 5 defeats, with 37 wins by way of Knockout. He is considered the pound for pound best fighter in the world as of August 2023.
    His style is beautiful to watch. Fast, powerful, durable, skillful, able to fight fight out of both stances; he is a complete fighter. He holds notable wins over Marat Grigorian, Sittichai, Superbon, Jo Nattawut, Sudsakorn, and Saiyok. The only loss he hasn't avenged on his resume is to the former p4p king and 70kg Champion Giorgio Petrosyan! He has a loss to Enriko Kehl since joining ONE but he had already KO'd Kehl in a previous bout and Kehl is currently coming off of a KO loss to Kiria in the Kickboxing tournament that Chngiz went on to win!
    In this video we look at some of the reasons why he is so good and the tactics he's used to beat the Elite Thai Fighters.

    Grigorian gave allazov an 8 count from a head kick off a hook 10 years ago, so impressive to see how far he’s come. My favourite kickboxer without a doubt 🔥

      I need to go back and watch that fight! I've seen the fight that was stopped due to cuts but I don't think I've seen that one, or I just can't remember it 🤣 thanks for commenting

    Chingiz style feels like Japanese Kickboxing, mixing the swift boxing, footwork and head movement with the large variety of kicks, which gives him the ability to change levels at any given time making him very unorthodox.

      I don't think that is the case. Japanese like to get into the pocket a lot more. Chinga flourishes in mid range

    A few things I noticed from Chingiz's fight with superbon. Chingiz makes good use of frames and temp shifts. Chingiz likes to strike/probe and come back for the reset, he'll diagonally step to the outside and while Superbon followed Chingiz would explode into a combination. This strategy stacks because Chingiz will use a double frame/push to make space and step back. Sometimes Superbon would be at the end of his combination or follow chingiz and Chingiz would use his frame and explode back into a combo to catch Superbon. This strategy is a bit reminiscent of Duran throwing a jab out then punish whatever his opponent went to counter with.

    Outstanding insight. I got back into Muay Thai and Kickboxing in May this year after starting my son in Kickboxing. I haven't been a practitioner since 2015 (moved job, moved house, got married, started a family etc.) and from day one I realised just how much I missed martial arts and how much I had taken my eye off of the game so to speak with personal skills. Fitness and conditioning was in the toilet, techniques were sloppy etc. 🤦🏻‍♂️
    I had still been watching GLORY, Thai Fight, I watched ONE blossom into what it is today _(way better than the UFC in my humble opinion)_ and of course kept up with UFC and seeing Chingiz come up was enlightening. If he remminds me of anyone then its Murthel Groenhart. That guy was slick, always very busy and had solid footwork. Nieky Holzken had to walk him down back when they clashed in GLORY, but where Groenhart lacks (and I say that with the greatest of respect), Chingiz has the answers and is just a clear step above with his ringcraft and overall fight IQ.
    I'm already picking things up from channel so thanks a lot for all that you do. Plus, its nice to see another bloke from England who has solid content about Kickboxing etc.
    Cheers. 👊🏻

      Technique instructions, fighter breakdowns etc helped me through lockdown a lot when gyms were closed. I recommend Stuart Thomlinson or MMA Shredded👍

      You don’t lol. In all seriousness I think (which could be completely wrong) a big part of it is weathering the storm, he expends a lot of energy with his fight style so the longer the fight the better the chance. Solid defence and fight iq since he is so unpredictable, find your timing (which once again is super hard to do with a fighter like him), lots of faking so he can’t just move around and do what he wants, target his legs early on. But the best way would be clinching him up (but this is kickboxing not Muay Thai so not an option. But there’ll be plenty of others more knowledgable than me with better answers, super tough fighter to deal with imo

    • @prostriking
      @prostriking  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You've absolutely nailed it mate you could start up your own channel haha! Sometimes it really is a case of weathering the storms and staying safe and picking good moments. That's if you want to be more strategic and skillful. The other approach is fight fire with fire, rusk getting blasted out of there, but have the chance of hurting him. Enrico kehl out combinationed him in his ONE debut but I feel like that version of Chingiz isn't what we've seen in the last few fights and he had a bit of an off night! Thank you for such an excellent comment on the channel!

    Good analysis, but Chingiz is fighting Thais in kickboxing rules. Not taking anything away from Chingiz's greatness, but he won't be as successful against Thais if it's Muay Thai rules.

    • @prostriking
      @prostriking  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Ye Muay Thai would be a much bigger challenge for sure but he has fought Muay Thai rules many times and been successful. I think in ONE with the 4oz Gloves he could be a champion! I'd love to see him face Tawanchai in Muay Thai rules. Thanks for the comment!
