    Great stuff. Would love to see one for the PNW resorts like crystal, Stevens and whistler! Love the content, always tune in.

      I'll definitely cover those at some point hopefully. As long as I've visited a resort once or twice, I will rank the lifts.

    Really good video, glad you've started doing voice over videos. One note is to make sure your background music track isn't too loud, for the most part it was good, but there were a few sections where it was hard to hear your voice. Otherwise well done

      Thanks! iMovie automatically Lowers music volume for voice-overs, but not always in some spots. I'll work on fixing that next time.

    What do you use to edit your videos?

      For this one, I used iMovie. The trick is being able to make it look like you didn't use iMovie.

    just btw super condor express was upgraded a while back from a high speed detachable quad to a high speed detachable six pack

    • @sorenjones
      @sorenjones  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Super Condor is not in fact a six-pack, and never has been replaced by one. It was upgraded to a high-speed quad in 1998, and has been untouched since. You might be thinking of Tombstone Express or King Con Express, which were replaced with six-packs in 2006 and 2015 respectively.

    Good idea to do a tier list for each lift. I’m considering doing something like this for future lift rankings, mainly for the lifts I’ve ridden.

    What would the criteria be for a lift to go in Z-tier?

    • @sorenjones
      @sorenjones  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My criteria were very loose for this ranking, and there's a lot of small details. Relatively speaking, a Z-Tier is the worst lift ever. A summary of the criteria would be a lift almost nobody uses, like not being open to the public, doesn't access any terrain except for real estate trails, or maybe a lift that isn't accessible because of being consistently closed, or being way overcrowded all of the time. And no, I wouldn't say Summit Express as Mt. Bachelor is Z-Tier simply because it doesn't open very much in the winter, a lift has to fit many general criteria.

    The new Gondola Idea for Park City seems like a great idea, but from my point of view, doesn’t make much sense. For example, the new Gondola starting where the old Sunrise Double starts and going up to essentially the same area as Red Pine Gondola. Just doesn’t make much sense to me considering they already have the Red Pine Gondola doing the same job the new one would.

    • @sorenjones
      @sorenjones  ปีที่แล้ว

      As said in the video, the point is to alleviate crowding from the Canyons base, achieved by adding a second gondola to increase out-of-base capacity. Red Pine Gondola doesn't have enough capacity to really do its job getting crowds out of the base, which is why they're adding another gondola. The article announcing the gondola is on Lift Blog if this isn't enough information.

    Be nice if you can do a lift system ranking for a top end European resort, then you could see how developed they are.

    • @sorenjones
      @sorenjones  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well if I can ever get out there, that certainly would be a great video to make. Don't think that's happening any time soon, unfortunately. And I am aware of how developed most European ski resorts are, that is one big reason I want to ski there.
