Here we go. The time has come for me to do the plant chores I don't want to do. And when I say I don't want to do them... Trust me. I really, really am not interested in accomplishing any of these today. But! Our plants need us and we must be their heroes. (It is also okay to use whatever vocabulary in this case to pump yourself up).

I found scale in my grow tent this week and I am blaming Miro for wishing us all to suffer with him lol
I spent yesterday doing plant chores I didn't want to do also. I do feel a little more organised and accomplished today though, and quite guilty about the state that some of them were in!
I'm impressed that you do lists. I don't and I take them one at a time and hope for the best so I don't get overwhelmed
I've found flat mites on three of my thirteen hoyas...................I really don't want to have to face attacking those mites with stinky sulfur! 😜

Lmaoooo this is me every single spring 😅 but also, lately, any time I start doing plant chores that I'm expecting to take *a few* minutes I get in there and there's rot, or pests or like with my crawlers that I've cut, I go to separate some out and the roots are WAY more tangled than I expected ((what world am I living in??))..and hours later, looking like I just ran a marathon, I'm wondering why I always think these tasks are going to be sOoO eAsY🥴🤦🏻♀️

Great video! I found myself getting overwhelmed a couple days ago. I only had 63 plants. But I’m in a small one br apartment. Getting old and tired. (Me not the apt.) I gave away 18 plants that were only stressing me out. I rearranged the remaining 45 and felt like a weight had been lifted. Now I am actually enjoying plant chores again. Getting to take more time enjoying the progress of each one. I love your vlogs. I hope you have a great week Miro. 🌱💚🌱
Yes, I definitely felt the same each time I gave up on some plants. I will soon be getting rid of all my syngoniums and some larger aroids :) It is nice to see plants everywhere but it can also become overwhelming and it gets to feel quite claustrophobic in small spaces.

Great job. Accomplished a lot. I don't really like the repotting chore either. I missed you last week so I watched some of the older videos. I now own 17 more hoya. Very additive. Just like watching you channel, addictive.
I don't mind repotting, but some of these plants I have definitely been avoiding. I agree! Hoyas are very, VERY addictive! :D

Seriously though, changes in seasons are just a lot of work. Dealing with pest, root rot and repotting have been taking up every free moment it seems. My collection hasn’t been bringing me the joy it usually does.

Hahaha, yes, let's suffer together :D I definitely agree! I actually am always wondering do other people notice changes in season as much as I do, because it is A LOT! But I always feel quite good about all I did once I am done with it and I see them thrive again :D

I blame you! You made me do this! 😂 *groan* I thought I was done and you made me look over at my philodendrons that I try to ignore that I have! My gigas rotted and I got rid of it and the burle Marx fantasy or whatever it is called.

So I have to pot up 3 different Hoyas ( I know they are such a small amount du e to I don’t have a lot of plants lol ) but I really am dreading this task they ain’t quite rooted yet but I dread the day I gotta pot them lol !
Oh don't worry! They are pretty resilient! :D Especially the more hardier ones :)
I have to mow my dad’s lawn (I offered to do so thinking I would get up early enough), it’s currently 28°C (83°F) at 12pm, and it’s going to get up to 33°C (91°F) by 4pm with a possible thunderstorm. I’m really not wanting to do this, but I need to.
Ouch! That is pretty hot for this time of the year! I hope the task is over fast!
@@BasiePlants I lived, it took me about 2 hours, but it was about 2 weeks worth of growth. This week was much easier with it taking 45 minutes and it was only 26°C (79°F).

I enjoyed the video, it’s good to know that I’m normal because i also have plant chores that i keep putting off. I’ve been meaning to ask you about growing your Hoya in peat and perlite mixture - doesn’t the peat stay wet for too long and cause root rot? Can you grow all Hoya types in this mixture? I’d like to try it but my Hoya collection is small (only 5 varieties) and I’d hate to kill any of them.
Oh I think we all have plant chores we put off! I don't have any issues in coco peat and perlite - I use a 50/50 mix, and they really like it :) I even have some in selfwatering pots like that. It may not be for every hoya, but it is deffinitely okay for some of the more common ones - carnosa, bella, linearis, lacunosa, australis, multiflora, lockii, fungii, latifolia, verticillata :)
Crossing fingers I get to buy a Latifolia from you (this year) when you make a sale. Everyone here in Serbia type so fast :S *lol Plus I can relate I have 10 (semi new and new plants in pete moss) not looking forward in repotting all of them.
