Good build, but may be not the perfect one for me due to the peak performance, i would rather invest in Agiator. Peak Perfromance may give you huge atk boost but that if only ur health is 100% full, and i think ,for GS player, or at least my style, i will get hit here and there a bit so it hard to just keep 100% hp at all time, i have the same build but switch the body part to Dooper (for max 7 atk ) or Nerigante ( 6 atk but stamina recover quick 20%, cuz you will run around, u will atk, then u will roll and u will tackle after roll to skip to final charge then atk again, repeat and some case tackle 2,3 time to defense u from monster hit may drain your stamia, if not recover fast enough,Maximum might won't kick in). I would replace Peak performance to agiator , cuz monster alway rage all the time an will give you extra stuff. my build skill is least below : 1- ATK - 6 ( May be max to 7 if have enough deco) 2- Critical boost - Max 3 3- Weak exploit- Max 3 4- Maximum Might- Max 3 5- Elementless- Max 1 6- Agiator level 3- Give you plus 8 Atk and 6% afinity (if i am not wrong ) when monster rage. 7-Stamina surge Lv 2- 20% faster stamina refill For augmentation : I do 3 straight ATK boost, but u can do 2 atk, 1 crit or 1 atk , 1 crit , 1 health ( I really don't believe in health regen since GS hit slow, hit less but hard so i don't think that health regen is my style). Your build is great , if u can keep your health 100% all time and i think it work GREAT with draw style and if you can replace those 3 grinder deco for ATK , it would be PERFECT since u only need to sharp ur weapon once, ( i haven;t since any monster survive after twice sharpening with this build :))
Chuong Quang because the gs hits slow makes it the best candidate for health Regen, it's slow but does high damage and since the amount of health you Regen is based off of damage it's just always worth it
Siwei Ye yes, and i benefit from that, if ur gs style is critical draw more if hit fast then run , then focus is a huge adding.. my play style is true charge, and slow charging give me more window to tackle monster hit effectively and more on time, focus may made my charge fast but less window to tackle and i alway get hit by missing tackle.. even with focus i still only be able to do 1 true charge when mons is down, or one two more hit .. so focus wont benefit my play style
Awesome video. GS main for life. Is there a way to work a sharp jewel into this build? That way, before you encounter the monster just sharpen so you get around a full minute losing no sharpness.
Very solid build, maybe i’ll try GS now :) Another way to charge your attack is to use traps. Will be quite hard when you begin the game but at least you can land 2 charged combos with no problem (i sometimes used that trick to land my saed correctly with the CB) Won’t work on elder dragons though.
great build man but dont neglect the fact how important is earplug, I used to ditch earplug skill became it kindof "waste of slot" after Maxing it,, damn my combo is so much smoother
Good video, in the video I noticed you evasion rolling towards the monster, just wondering why you didn't go straight into a shoulder charge via evasion roll? Like you can dodge and press triangle for a quick shoulder charge
I tried replicating this build exactly, but somehow I cannot get anywhere near 820 on true charged slash like you did on the training pole (even with buffs!)...were you able to consistently get that much damage on the pole with the true charged slash?
this build need use the 2 lv3 slots (or lv2) of the jargas GS. so you need give up some attack power if you choose nergla GS. In the other hand, you can consider build sets in this video: th-cam.com/video/Mc7zbhgp1LA/w-d-xo.html by remove one non-elemental jewel, you can basically do the same. and you do not need protective polish for nergla GS so you can put some other jewel there.
Just as good as your 3P hammer build that I’m using now. Can you show or send me the skills status bars? Much appreciated as always. My PsN is Tribes77715 thank you. Great build again. Top tier mate.👍
Great build but there are some unquestionable flaws. Being a gs user, I can assure you without using rocksteady mantle you wont ever get those openings to do the whole combo to true slash without using tackles, making maximum might useless. Also, even when you have rocksteady mantle on, you will still take damage when the monster moves around or hits you with a move while you're in the middle of an animation making peak performance useless as well. In conclusion, good video good build but imo a little impractical.
As a GS main I do agree with most of your points, but I personally think that maximum might is far from useless on a greatsword. Max might is required if you plan to get something as close as 100% affinity on your build, without relying on the affinity booster. This is important if you want to use critical boost at the fullest, because this skill will considerably increase your overall damage. My thought process was to make sure I could crit most if not all of my true charges because that's a game changer. I frequently use my build without rocksteady and I agree, tackling is really important. Nonetheless you can get this full combo whenever the monster is down, which isn't that hard to achieve solo, and you can do the same on downed monsters online. Although I didn't plan on getting this skill, stamina surge lvl2 (from Nergigante Mail beta) increases my stamina recovery, thus making it possible to get back to full if I'm charging. The fact that I do not use focus on my builds help as well in that regard (it's definitely a really good skill but not mandatory imo).
ItsNavv that's what I was thinking, looks cool and all but I don't like builds like this least of all for a game. To reliant on tool and peak performance isn't to appealing either since that works in tandem with tool
Deus_Vult225 great reply. What you said does make sense as in those situations you would have the time to get your stamina back so I guess it really comes down to play style I prefer the using tackle at the perfect time to use super armour in order to get my charges off and there’s nothing wrong with your playable either happy hunting!
thanks for the information. I am not main GS so I may miss some points. but for the peak performance and heal regen. augmentation, i need to defense a bit: although the first one or two charges are not fully benefited from peak performance, as long as they hit, you pretty much fully healed and the monster is very likely losing balance, so your true charge can hit with peak performance effect on. but that truly rely on the GS play style =)
Yup definitely gonna be trying this all weekend. Another great build man 👏🏽
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND THIS ISNT INCLUDING THE WEAPON BUFF PATCH LOL. YOU ROCK
Omg this build is disturbingly good. I only got the health regen augment on my sword at the moment but I just made tempered nergigante cry
It seems your doing amazing builds for each weapon. I'm excited to see your switch axe build
Well done, as always!
thanks =)
I love your build, it’s similar to mine but your numbers threw me off till I saw the attack buffs on the top left lol great video! Subscribing now
Shoyubox thanks. i’m curious what you saw from the atk buffer icon though :3

Chuong Quang may i know your build
Use 2 or 3 health regen augments
Chuong Quang because the gs hits slow makes it the best candidate for health Regen, it's slow but does high damage and since the amount of health you Regen is based off of damage it's just always worth it
Chuong Quang so..you do not use focus?
Siwei Ye yes, and i benefit from that, if ur gs style is critical draw more if hit fast then run , then focus is a huge adding.. my play style is true charge, and slow charging give me more window to tackle monster hit effectively and more on time, focus may made my charge fast but less window to tackle and i alway get hit by missing tackle.. even with focus i still only be able to do 1 true charge when mons is down, or one two more hit .. so focus wont benefit my play style

Love it, I play only gs and this is similar to my build
playing gs, looking at big damage numbers feels good =) satisfaction!
Plus the shudder when a big hit connects, Capcom did a good job putting weight behind each attack
Not bad, I’ll try this build
But I think speed sharpening is a waste of slot because you probably only need to sharp your weapon once pergame ...
Very solid build, maybe i’ll try GS now :) Another way to charge your attack is to use traps. Will be quite hard when you begin the game but at least you can land 2 charged combos with no problem (i sometimes used that trick to land my saed correctly with the CB) Won’t work on elder dragons though.
for normal monsters, the trap cat is a good option lol
True, though it's better to use the opera horn, you have your own hunting horn as support :)
great build man but dont neglect the fact how important is earplug, I used to ditch earplug skill became it kindof "waste of slot" after Maxing it,, damn my combo is so much smoother
The problem with this build is I don't Have tenderizer jewel, flawless jewel, grinder jewel, expert jewel and warrior streamstone sword.
Your problem
Thank you
Good video, in the video I noticed you evasion rolling towards the monster, just wondering why you didn't go straight into a shoulder charge via evasion roll? Like you can dodge and press triangle for a quick shoulder charge
wow, actually i did not know that. thanks for the info. will use it in the future =)
I tried replicating this build exactly, but somehow I cannot get anywhere near 820 on true charged slash like you did on the training pole (even with buffs!)...were you able to consistently get that much damage on the pole with the true charged slash?
FWIW, I was getting mostly 740ish at most.
for the training pole, i had buffs from might pills and 6 meat meal. if only with demondrug, i think around 740 is the correct value.
I gave up on jagras GS because of the blue sharpness
non-elemental, Lv3 Slot x2, high damage, if it comes with white sharpness, the other GS will be angry lol
Will it work with Vaal Hazak GS with HP regen augment?
in principle, it works with any GS, just a matter of some damage differ
Is this for only great jargas great sword or will it work on my nergla great sword

What if i dont have flawless nor WE
But i have everything else will it still hit like a truck
Discord_ the_Hunter it will be less strong but overall it will still work for sure :)
aquCHAOS sweet, thats all i needed, you think adding crit boost will work in my favor if i dont have those decorations
Discord_ the_Hunter yes of course

Draw builds are boring in general anyways.
Well done on this one!
+Son of Kharn depends though. I have a critical draw KO build i'm making for extra cc potential in groups
Yeah, BORING.
well that's your opinion lol
Exactly. lels
Except that’s a switch axe so
It's a great sword. That's the Jagras hacker
Longsword
Tf why dont u just show the build in the actual game. You’re just making it harder for your viewers. Gahhh
i want to add some explanation beneath so i did not use the in game show. but i think the information you get is the same, or I miss something?
