" It's not the end of the world"😅 i really love your videos bec not only you give me awesome recipes but you also put a smile on my face ..Yet another delicious recipe... BTW ,love your new pot and pan....
Thanks Jack, this is one of my faves but it's a faff to make with the chicken coated in cornflour and the szechuan pepper (don't know if that's authentic but it's a Ching He Huang recipe I've always used!) so will definitely give this a go.
Hello Jack, quick question about the Peanuts - do i need raw peanuts for that? and then toast them? Or is it okay to use already baked/roasted peanuts and toast them again? also when choosing, should i get the salt version or the without salt
Hey man, love your prep meal video's! I'm quite new to this so perhaps this may sound like a stupid question, but how do you reheat the meal? I've been using a microwave but it makes the chicken quite dry. I have no idea what the best way is (microwave, oven, stovetop or something else). And how do I need to remoisturize the meal? I may be stupid, but perhaps a kind of detailed guide would be useful. Are there any tricks to it? Thank you in advance!
I made this yesterday and it turned out great! I left out the onions, peanuts, alcohol, and used brined chicken breast and olive oil! My boyfriend and I loved it! Might use less ginger next time. 10/10!
I don't usually comment on videos, but I have to say I love this channel. I get Hello Fresh for me and my partner which covers 5 evening meals a week (which aren't always the same time) and then I also meal prep to have food for lunches at work/just when we need something easy. These ones are usually great! Some aren't to my taste (because preferences are different between people) but some are MAJOR hits! In specifics the Honey Sriracha Chicken and Quick & Easy Pepper Beef Stir Fry - I usually end up subbing some veggies for different ones we prefer, but the actual taste is ALWAYS great! Therefore I am excited to try this and hope it will make it onto my list of things to batch cook for us!
Made this yesterday. The recipe was super easy to follow and it tasted really good. I couldn’t find those red chilies at the store and ended up using some dried arbol chilies. Not sure if those were right to use but still the food was good.
Which size meal prep containers are you using in your meal prep videos? The link just brings you to the site not a specific set of containers. It’s hard to judge sizes on camera. Thanks
Another absolutely delicious recipe meal prep 😋 and all thank you to you my friend Jack! I couldn't resist to taste some of it before I store in the fridge 😂. Definitely will cook it again 😊
Loving your dishes and especially the meal prep - the website is just a blessing, just about to go shopping, the first thing I do is load up your website. Great work and thank you!
I love every recipe with the word 'chicken' since I am on a macro diet. Thank you, I now have even more recipe to test! Thanks as always. It is really a pleasure to be able to try these recipes out ❤
Wd on reaching 1 million subs Jack. Another great recipe. Wife's uncle visiting us on Sunday so I'm rolling out the Tuscan Chicken recipe. I've cooked it many times thanks to your vlogs and it never disappoints 🙂
Easy Version No BS: Kung Pao Sauce 1.2kg Chicken Thigh/breast 50g Peanuts 8? Spring Onion/Scallions 2 Bell Peppers (could add more) 2 Chillies (Not needed) 300g Jasmin Rice
Very nice, I would replace the rice with califlower rice or other veg to bring the calories down to around 500 per serving if you are on a calorie deficit.
Absolutely amazing. It was seriously better than take out. I even bought the birds eye chili and got so excited to find them. I've been trying to stick to my macros and a recipe like this really helps me. Thank you!
Thanks for the recipe! I just wanted to say thanks again for making easy and tasty recipes that are well balanced. Too many chefs / cooks make bland or overly complicated food, but as someone who loves to eat but wants to be healthy as well these are perfect

Which size of container do you use?
And thanks for all the great recipes 😋

Hello! If you buy roasted you don’t need to roast them. Unsalted is what I use
Hi chef, i really like your meal prep series. Would you make a video about some tips to reheat the meal that has been frozen and/or refrigerated? ❤
Thanks Chef Jack! We all truly appreciate you and your efforts with each and every video.
It’s a pleasure! Thank you 🙏
Congrats again to 1 million! This meal looks so good !

I noticed you mentioned "yes im using rice again". I'm guessing some people complained? This is a MEAL PREP. Meal preps generally HAVE RICE IN THEM.
Best channel ever!! Do you have a link to your pots and pans? I tried checking your amazon storefront but I couldn’t find them :(
Oh my days... I batch cooked this yesterday but used brown rice. It tastes flippin' sublime. Ideal for work meals. Healthy and very tasty... 👍
Awesome to hear! Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you for using the shaoxin wine! I bought it cause of your other recipe
Thank you Chef! If you freeze this meal, how would you cook when needed?

4 days in the fridge? In one sitting I'd be done with all those meals.😂

Coming soon. Got so much on my plate right now it’s hard to keep up with everything
Very nice, I would replace the rice with califlower rice or other veg to bring the calories down to around 500 per serving if you are on a calorie deficit.
This is quality content very clear concise and to the point
I'm going to substitute Mirin, because I don't know where to buy Shaoxing wine
Thank you for your delicious recipe, but aside from the food, I fell in love with the pot and pan. 🙆It's very stylish
First cab off. Hi mate, looks like a great dish mate. Thanks for sharing
Thanks mate
What black hand gloves do you use? I want to get some myself. Great video too definitely going to try this!
awesome video! do you think its possible to meal prep chicken al pastor? if so, it would be a great video!
the thumbnail looks like you're cooking a miniature version of the meal and is holding it with your fingers 🤣
Brother HOW do i measure milliliters of a thick sauce like hoisin? Why not just include the mass in grams
Same amount in g
this is usually true for water yes but not always @@ChefJackOvens
i mean think about it, its volume vs mass. hoisin sauce can take up the same volume as water and i doubt they would weigh the same
Wow kung pao chicen is one of my favourite Chinese dishes. Thank you for this! 🙏🏻
so if want to do a smaller portion what would be the ratio of ingredients?or does that matter?
great video as always! What is the big pan/pot you are using?
Absolutely amazing. It was seriously better than take out. I even bought the birds eye chili and got so excited to find them. I've been trying to stick to my macros and a recipe like this really helps me. Thank you!
im always hungry after your videos. 🤤
OOo, would you please tell us about your new pan?? Please ❤
What are those serving bowls called please?
They’re from luvele. The link is in the description. They’re also 750ml
@@ChefJackOvens Thank you....I love your recipes too
Dumb question but is low sodium soy sauce the same as reduced salt sauce?
Yes they are the same
@@Mr.man712 thank you!

Quality Content 👌
Jack, great as usual!!
gratz on a mil
Where’s the spicy chilli bean sauce?
Wherever you left it
Link to food containers, please?
In the description
@@ChefJackOvens Missed that. Thanks.
Omg kung pao is my favorite asia style dish in my asia fast food stores. Now finally having a high quality recipe to do it my own ❤❤❤
You really need to get a rice cooker man 😂
He’ll die on a hill saucepan in hand before getting a rice cooker 😆
Hes a chief lol he would rather cook traditionally not that i mind.
@@Mr.man712 I get that he’s a chef but it’s plain rice lol nothing fancy about it
I don’t need one and will most likely never get one as I think it’s pointless having something else in my kitchen that I won’t need
@@ChefJackOvens i agree, also i reallu loved your ginger clinatro rice recipe, got any ideas for other rice variations?
bro not even competing bodybuilders need a 1:1 carb to protein ratio
This is regular meal prep not diet specific meal prep
Love your pots... I must say that that chicken does look delicious and you look suitably impressed by the taste. Thanks Jack. X
I need those vacuum containers ;) great video, thanks

Soy is really bad for men is there an alternative ?
That soy claim was debunked years ago.
@@Sjf542 Then you should keep eating it.
I am soo making this and I do luv rice. Thanks! 😋
