No, you just need to unlock Super Sonic and turn into him before the Mach Speed Section. To unlock Super Sonic, you'll need to obtain all the gems and have S rank in all the stages in Sonic's campaign. When you accomplish the requirements for him, the game will tell you that you can unlock him by going to the last section of Kingdom Valley in a secret room close to the falling stairs around the castles. Imagine if sonic frontiers instead of having fast travel, has a gimmick where sonic stands still for a sec and then runs at max speed similair to this. Same controlls and everything so that it wouldn't be too OP.

@@noone5454 yeah i thought it more has 2 versions of the world, one thats detailed and for normal running and another one thats really blurry because of how fast your going (but now that i think about it, thats just a loading screen that you can play.
