    In this video the RVY team creates a breathtaking outdoor living space on a beautiful waterfront property. Tens of thousands of pounds of material were removed and hundreds of thousands more were brought in to construct this space.
    This project features three stone patios, retaining walls, artificial turf, retaining walls, landscape steps, plants and shrubs, curbing, decorative rock and much more!
    This project took just under one month to complete mostly due to constant weather and rain delays throughout the process.

    It’s beautiful, and the home owners will undoubtedly enjoy their lovely outdoor space. (Personally, I would detest living so close to the neighbors and having such a small yard, but I’m an introvert that prefers dogs to humans. I’d much rather have privacy and lots of room for my 4 legged friends to play. But that’s just me... 😊)

      Pavers’ edge restraint to keep the paver from shifting or settling laterally.

    • @ericpurcell9984
      @ericpurcell9984 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      2 different types of material under pavers, initial is a base material ~4-8” compacted 1/4-1/2” stone with fines that is highly compact able. The second and final material is sand or a decomposed granite that isn’t compacted initially and is screed ~1” over the course to be as precise in the grade as possible. Pavers are laid over top the sand using the click and drop method and final sand is Brooke’s into joints and final step is to compact the pavers into the bedding sand using a rubber mat to not damage the top layer of pavers.

    • @rockyviewyards
      @rockyviewyards  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment! There is 8 inches of 3/4 road base under the patio and wall, and then an inch of bedding sand to get it all nice and smooth. Behind the wall is a perforated weeping tile and clear stone to help with drainage.
