Guys, Just checking out your Indigogo page to support your project and see that you only ship to the EU, UK and the USA- no Canada?! Looks like I'm left out- a bit shocking.
Hi Reinhold, we send our parcels with FedEx's dangerous goods service, so we can ship to Canada. The issue is the cost. I'll happily set it up on Indiegogo, but it will cost us £55 for an EQ parcel - bottles of 30ml or smaller. For larger bottles it costs us £125. In the US, we're shipping a shared box over, which is why it's not as expensive. I have a friend who receives and forwards all the separate parcels. In Canada there's only been the one question: yours. I'm goung to ask our Facebook Group to see if anyone else wants to join in for a Canada box.
I'm really sorry. The issue is the UN dangerous goods regulations. Our only way to Australia is via our stockists LKNU; we send a big box via a freight forwarding company, or mates on a voyage.
Yes, I love living in OZ, but this paranoia about worldwide shipping of fragrances is very frustrating. Not a single fragrance is made here (maybe Fort and Manle) but every fragrance in every pharmacy, every department store, every supermarket comes from overseas - they are being flown / shipped in by the tonne. What are these importers doing that is so different ?

I have shipped to our Australian retailer, and what happens is that we send a box to a freight forwarder who gets it on to a goods plane. Once it arrives, then it goes to a bonded warehouse to clear customs, after which it can be collected from Sydney airport. That's how the big companies do it, or they ship a whole container load on a cargo ship. Well, you asked. 😁
I've a number of different real ouds and the Firmenich smells like one of them, and unlike the others. That said, I choose to use it because I like it, not because it's aspiring to smell like oud, if you see what I mean.
I can ship the smaller bottles to Japan, but it is expensive because of the dangerous goods charges: £60 per parcel. New Zealand is not possible at all. The best thing is to have a friend deliver it, but I can add Japan to the delivery options if you like.
I think I'm more excited by this than any other TH-camr fragrance to date. Really looking forward to seeing/smelling what you all come up with.

That Firmenich oud doesn’t smell anything like oud. I don’t get it.
