I heard that the oem led headlights from honda performe well better than the morimoto xb. Could that explains why they only chose to compare good ol halogen lights with their products?? 🤔 something is fishy to me

I wanted to buy the gen 1 but I can't find em anywhere. Are these better? The gen 1 had 5 led lamps and this one has 4.
The V1 has been discontinued, but the V2 is brighter and better than the V1.

Yes!
Morimoto honestly dropped the ball on the gen1 of these lights. Faulty height adjustments, 3 expensive LEDs that sat dormant unless used in HIGH Beam, poor low-beam output, messy wiring harness. They were clearly a rushed product. I'm glad Morimoto stepped up and released something more in line with what customers have come to expect from a premium brand with a premium price. Now you can have my money. 👍 Very cool.
I guess these do not have ECE-markings on them as they seem to be mostly sold in the USA. Am I right?
That is correct! From Morimoto - These housings have been designed for, and tested on, US-Spec vehicles. Other countries' compatibility may vary and is not guaranteed nor always known.

Not full headlight replacements, only replacement bulbs.
