China will never allow that. The US can't even do that. The only thing that keeps the dollar standing is Europe and the Netherlands has ASML chip technology the US needs. It would destroy the US economy completely. Not to forgetting to mention that 61.4% in the US is from European descent in a country full of guns.
This is probably 80% motivated by him still being annoyed about his golf course having its view blocked. But the remaining 20% may be because Trump is concerned about gas demand. I don't think Trump actually cares much about North Sea production - he just wants Europe to keep being a profitable market for US oil and gas. The UK has seen declining gas demand for years, and in 2025 we're probably going to see more electricity being generated from wind than gas for the first time.
Given the hatred the Europeans direct at Australia which is the key to NATO defence due to the SIGINT system, there’s very little intelligence or knowledge on either side of the Atlantic about co-operating for the better good. In case Europeans need reminding, Russia is the enemy.
Ya Poland and Estonia need a break paying more of a share per gdp than anyone, even the US. Oh wait they are in Europe. Because low fertility isn't a threat to normal people. It's only scary for corporations who need an oversupply of powerless drone workers to keep wages low and profits high. Firstly, governments that are afraid they won't have enough taxpayers to keep the system running will be fine once they man up and start taxing the rich. We've seen a top marginal tax rate of 75% before and the economy didn't crash. With a few more brackets we could take the top rate to 90% or 99% and the economy still won't crash. Secondly, the human species isn't at risk of extinction - come back when our numbers drop below a million and we still won't be at risk of extinction, never mind approaching ten billion. Thirdly, when Europe's population dropped massively during the Black Death, that ushered in an era of drastically increasing prosperity for the survivors as employers were forced to offer much higher wages and much better working conditions than before. With low fertility, we can have all the advantages of a reduced population without anyone having to die of anything other than old age. Fourth, population is a negative feedback cycle. When wages are higher, living conditions are better, and the world feels like it has a prosperous future, people have more babies. We're just going through a correction period right now because people's living conditions are mostly pretty nasty and bringing a child into these conditions is not a choice a loving parent would make for their child. If governments and oligarchs actually wanted a higher fertility rate, they have the means to make it happen: raise wages to match inflation in the cost of housing, abolish unpaid overtime, fund high quality services like health care and education so that kids can thrive even if their parents aren't rich, and restore democracy so people who aren't millionaires have a real say in how their country is run. The fact that they do none of these things tells you they're actually not terribly worried about fertility - it's just a talking point to distract listeners from the real issues that oligarchs like president musk don't want to stop profiting from.

Lord Vader Musk !!! The dark side !! With Jabba the Hutt Trump !!
Don’t underestimate US public contempt for Europe and NATO and interest in forming a US-Russian alliance. Musk shares those sentiments and leverages American sympathies and admiration of Putin’s Russia.
Good luck with that. You can trust Ruzzians, they never lie or break agreements.
Then there are more fools in the USA than were counted previously..
You know that, according to himself, he didn't know what NATO was until he became president? He probably has forgotten what NATO and Europe are again.
He's sofa king inept.
Given the hatred the Europeans direct at Australia which is the key to NATO defence due to the SIGINT system, there’s very little intelligence or knowledge on either side of the Atlantic about co-operating for the better good. In case Europeans need reminding, Russia is the enemy.
Oh well then go ahead and try and run NATO without the U.S.
He did not even know about the events at Pearl Harbour.
Good, he openly admits to not knowing everything, unlike most politicians 😊

Listening to radio while I read comments 😂
Trump has always been happy for the US to be part of NATO but he is fed up with European countries not paying their share.
Ya Poland and Estonia need a break paying more of a share per gdp than anyone, even the US. Oh wait they are in Europe. Biggest economy pays biggest $ but you can’t expect a place like Greece to spend 200 billion on defence (almost their entire economy). uSA pays 60% cause they make up 60% of the total GdP of the gang.
@@kman0074 🤣🤦♀
Except that this is not true. But it sounds good if you want to divide.
The US could always spend less if it wanted to

Best to let Mr X and Trump speak this insanity before 20 Jan, rhe first day ... WOOOOO imagine asking Charles III to do something that hasn,'t been seen since Queen Anne while ignoring recent multi-PM parliaments in UK and AU. The people voted for their MPs. Parliament can change who PM is. No need for an election. Mr X and the President are attacking Parliament as an institution, the eyes and ears of the people over government.
The persecution of the indigenous peoples of the British Isles in favor of Imported Religious Societies have made the business environment unstable for other Western Societies
I hate to burst your bubble but Britain has never had an indigenous population. Its first settlers 90, 000 years ago were from Anatolia (Turkey to you!) Then vikings Swedish Danish German. Then Romans Italian North African and yes black people 2000 years ago then more Danish "Angles" saxons French William of Normandy. ETC etc. Etc.

1 Fertility
2 AI
3 Robotics
Which brings me back to point number 1 why did the media not sufficiently warn people of this major problem?
@ we will have to agree to disagree.
It’s clearly different today
