I have being teaching for 20 years and have never done a lesson plan in my life. I am a linguist and I have always used learning goals and outcomes of Blooms taxonomy in my teaching.
It drove me insane when I did my CELTA that the trainer wanted to know the far end of a fart and absolutely insisted on doing everything to the letter so she could tick boxes.
It is good to see there has FINALLY been a turn around in thinking at Cambridge.

You should try DELTA module 2 to prepare a lesson plan that is 10 times more detailed than the one candidates usually prepare while taking the CELTA. I am talking about the LP and the background essay. CELTA is just a dessert compared to DELTA module 2.

Thank you so much for #Simon and the Cambridge university press for putting this video on TH-cam, for teachers such as me, who are about to start and are scared of making a mistake ( due to previous bad experiences) 😊❤️
I hope this appreciation gets to you. Love and prayers.

Thank you Sir for such a great session.Truly motivating and putting the teachers on the path of Live Teaching and Learning process.
How can we concise the topics while teaching History.. As I've found it very challenging to cover certain chapters events in History specially in the Indian context , where learners are from different religious background and sensitive while learning History in depth.

I'm bemused to see Simon's stance softened on developing lesson plans from last year's talk on the same topic to this year's talk. If you're reading Simon, do you mind telling us? I assume it's because you work for Cambridge 😊
