Nice video Dave.. You really are spreading the word on Nortent... From watching many of your videos on their tents they definitely look really good... Brilliant work.. Best wishes Tom
Thanks Tom. There is some really great stuff in the pipeline from Nortent that is sure to get your attention too. Thanks for commenting and for the positivity. Dave
Love Nortents... They're all well thought-out/designed and appear tough as windjammer sails. And they're SENSIBLE colours too. The Lavvo serios looks to be the perfect 'base-camp' tent. They're also modular, so nothing stopping one from just buying the bell flysheet and using another 'inner' from any lightweight bivvy ( Vern 1 or 2...?), which could be used in a secondary role for 'away missions'.... Having a large working area in a tent is super luxury! Esp, with a wood-burner in situ...
That is a great looking and very functional tent Dave. Also good for just chucking in the car for an impromptu few days on a site I'd imagine. Hope you are well and Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. ATB, Chris
Mate i was looking at the hillberg staika needed a proper tent ironically finmark and northern scandiavia, this weights the same as the 2 person staika, way bigger, in fact it weighs less, and with the rest of my pack ultralight il still be under 10kg with food and water for a week with this in my bag
hi Buddy, that would be quite a different kind of tent, but for the space , amazing. They have a good deal on right now at Nortent too if you are quick! the Gamme are in their outlet section too at amazing prices.

Never thought of a different inner. Great idea!
Looks like a really fun tent! I like the single pole design a lot.
It really is! The single pole is nice and simple, they do a carbon pole too.
Nice, I like it 👍😎
Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for watching! Atb, Dave.

@Fellmandave1 yh have had a look at the gamma, abit to heavy for me, also not needing an inner when using a groundsheet will save me alot of weight
Interesting video on a good thought out tent, not one for the backpack,
Did not recognise that area at all where you pitched
Cheers
But to the backpack I must take it! Where abouts do you live?
