After listening to a bunch of EAS scenarios, yours (especially this one) are my favorite. Incredibly realistic, the wording is spot on, the pacing builds the tension really well and things don't get too hokey or unbelievable (until the twist, heh). If you're not doing these any more, then at least let me thank you for the ones you've given us.
ik im 7 months late, but the twist still felt realistic, after 2 hours of slowly building up this meteor shower strike it isn't too off base that a large object would be part of that storm
You know, I was pretty impressed with the objective realism of the entire thing until that end swerve. I was thinking "damn, this isn't some end of the world doomsday shit, this is actually pretty plausible"...then you just hit us with an E.L.E. at the end, lol.
To be fair, it's most likely the asteroid mentioned in the first few minutes, might've already swung around the sun back across it's path, since it came from outside the solar system it's playing by classic 80's cop rules
WARNING: The following comment contains ***Spoilers***. Do not read if you do not want Spoilers. I knew this scenario would involve something similar to a global emergency!

man, I first watched this in my last year of high school (2018, actually took me a while bc I watched it in school XD), and it scared the crap out of me the first time it’s still one of the best EAS scenarios I’ve ever seen, and I’m certain I’m going to keep coming back to it!
I find it oddly amusing that the EAS broadcast voices in the first portion of the video make this event out as that of normal everyday life Like a lightning storm
what a christmas presant...meteor impacts...cold tempertures....crators in roads and highways....meteor explosions blowing out windows...wildfires....and dust storms....man....what a mess.....great scenario.
Man, the writing for the alert messages are spot on with the repetition, the short and concise warnings, the beeps and blaring alarms, very well done, only thing that kinda brought me out of the setting was the robot voices being used for what was supposed to be real newscasters and broadcasters too, just kinda threw me off but I'd rather have that than some really bad voice acting lol
I love these so much. Wanting to go to sleep at 1:45 tonight but I ended up staying until 4:15am... your scenarios are so well-put together I give myself chills every time I hear those sounds and tones. Now every time I hear a siren I'm gonna think twice about what it actually is

This video is quite impressive, I enjoyed listening to it and I believe that you will soon reach the levels of the greats like Ben Marking. Unfortunately, one thing took me completely out of the immersion...where the meteorites fell, they shouldn't have all fallen in the same place. The earth rotates, so they should have fallen from east to west slowly. If you'd started in SW Kansas and eventually worked your way to, oh, Colorado Springs or Denver, with an Aspen/Vail kicker, I would have completely bought it. Still, a damn good job!
