I love the Wikipedia summary for Bug Island: "Some of the boss fights include the giant angry gorilla, one big worm, the giant spider, and the monster the island is named after, Beelzebub."
I'm so happy you took a look at Tornado Outbreak. It was such a personal favorite of mine as a kid. I remember having a fascination with tornadoes as a kid, and I'm guessing my mom took notice and decided to get me this tornado-themed game on the Wii as a surprise gift one night. I don't know how she found it, because from what I heard, this wasn't an easy game to find in stores. This game does evolve from simply destroying for the sake of destorying stuff, thankfully. Later on in the second level, you encounter these little fire guys called Fire Flyers. Thats were the game becomes more of a "round them up" kind of game, with you having to destroy structures with sparks, grab on to as many as you as can. You can only grab for limited time, and even slow down the longer you grab, but not only will the grab time restart with every Flyer grabbed, but you even get a speed boost as well. I music in this game is really good too IMO. It was done by Peter McConnell, who also did the music for Sly Cooper (IIRC I think Loose Cannon Studios, the devs who made this game, had a lot of talent from Sucker Punch also, I might be wrong tho), Psychonauts, Brütal Legend aswell as lot of old LucasArts games. I love how the music starts off reletivley calm, and gets more intense the bigger and more destructive your tornado gets. I love this game, and I'm glad you gave it look, even if it wasn't for that long. Thank you for showing this game off to a wider audience.
It wouldn't surprise me if people who worked on Sly Cooper worked on Tornado Outbreak because the cutscene cinematics were very reminiscent of the ones from the Sly games
