I've just bought an RS because it's so good looking (and it goes very well too) but this Yoshimura special is unbelievable, really next level. 10 out of 10.
I have a custom w650 and an Estrella already. I do not need another bike. This is causing major dissonance. How I long for this bike, and the unreasons I need it are being moved like a giant elastic band in my brain!
Z900rs is the best modern throwback. It has the power to back it up. The looks are fucking awesome too. I thought they couldn't do any better but i was wrong. 10/10
I love the Triumph and this Kawasaki. Thanks brother. 10 out of 10 for both. It's not easy to build something that stirs the soul nowadays. The tank seam looked smoothed off. Nice work.
love the looks, I almost bought the retro kit for my z1000, love the round headlight and teardrop tank! My love of motorcycles started when my uncle bought a 1976 kz900, this bike sure takes me back!
I had several Z1 bikes, including a brand new 1975 Z1B. When I finally sold it in 1994, it had an 1105 Yoshimura big bore kit and cam. Chose a milder cam, and it ran 11.28 at 122mph. If I would've gone next step up on cam it woulda been a mid to high 10 second@127+ mph bike. Rode it for years like that with absolutely no problems, except rear tire wear.....
The Z900 was the best bike I've ever owned. The power and torque reminded me of my old Gs1100E. I'm 70 now and I just couldn't stay off the throttle. If I wasn't doing 130 mph I wasn't happy. The Youshimura made me drool like one of Pavlov's dogs
That’s what I like about it too. I guess to some extent it’s more cost effective to spin a retro bike off the z900, but the end product is still really awesome
looks awesome ,timeless design , this kind bikes you can pass on to next generation and they will enjoy the same. look like some one put lots of love and soul in it. if i got enough money , this is the one i am buying .
Yea this bike is still on my list. It still ticks all the boxes except for off-roading of course. I wish Kawasaki would come out with a matte black, a nice bright red, pearl white along with the spark black and brown/orange. Nice vid Bob!
Give it a 9 already. Just needs clip ons and bar end mirrors since they are sporting it up with that exhaust. I love how its so close to the original classic version but has modern amenities. I would love to own one.

This Kawasaki z900rs is my bike of the moment ; I passed my test in August last year.....dunno if I'm ready for a 900 but damn this bike is pukka & this Revamp is a 9/10 - The white is too Much for me ; reversal of the white & green would be a nice touch Good Video
nice. i'd give it a 8/10. The paint looks awesome and the whole bike really looks cool. Would have never thought it would be an option for me up against a Triumph retro bike. But it will go on my list of bikes to try out.

I have an original z900 and this retro looking bike is beautiful ,disappointing it doesn't come with chrome 4 into 4 exhaust but it really is a great looking bike .Yoshi pipes are ridiculously priced .
I absolutely love the Z900RS but this Yoshimura edition it's a step above the regular model. I just sold my Monster 696 so hopefully I'll be parking a 900RS Cafe in my driveway.
Guy down the hill 3blocks from me had a rootbeer one with kerker headers/ exaust. I was 12.. everyday when he came home he would wheelie all the way down the hill ...my childhood hero..love that bike
I really like the Z900RS anyway so this is even better. I do prefer the stock cafe version though of them all. I'm looking forward to reviewing one for my channel shortly too 👍
I like these retros. The various Kawi 900s grab me the hardest. Though the BMW R nine T and Triumphs look good, there are no nearby dealers. This show bike I'd give an 8.2 out of 10. I like the Yamaha retro 900 also.
Wow that's a good looking bike. I like the white with green decals stripes. That looks really good with the black exhaust and engine etc. 9 out of 10 on the looks. Seat might not have a lot of grip though but looks good.
Forgot to score, a decent 8.5 for me. Paint on the front mudguard and a tail tidy would have boosted it. There something about that seat that I don't like either. These are the only things that detract from a really really nice bike.
They did one on their Instagram with paint on the front mudguard etc. so maybe a customer requested it. Looked good! A few folks aren’t keen on the seat and would prefer a flatter shorter seat, but I guess the way they have it looks more Z1
Beautiful, but hardly retro. My 2nd bike is the more retro CB1100. Still air-cooled, but Honda did add an oil cooler, which some guys did on their own. Only 89 hp and a lacking suspension system, but fun to ride and easy to maintain. And rides smoother than the old CB's, KZ's, and GS's.
I wish Kawasaki would just make a solid color, and stop with the stripes. I want to buy one of these, and I'd probably head to the dealer right now, if they had one painted in solid red, or solid blue, or even dark metal flake green. The strange graphics packages really ruin the body lines on this beautiful work of art. This Yoshimura edition is the best looking Z900RS yet, but I still wish it was solid green (my preference).
Great video! Had one of the original Z1900s when they first came out. One suggestion on your dialogue in your videos... it would be nice if you made reference to both metric and American (I.E. xxx# of liters and/or xxx# of gallons).
Save your money a Delkevik full system with a carbon silencer 480Euro, they forgot to paint the front fender & the hugger. It needs black bars, quick shift & bar end mirrors. It,s a great bike.
9/10 for me! I’m a fan of the z900RS. Love the color on this one. I don’t like the radiator grill. Looks a bit “aliexpress” 😀. And do think the original color of the exhaust would look a bit better on this color. I’m hoping for a testride next month.
I've liked the Speed Twin best so far out of all these, 10/10 for that one. I actually like the looks of the Z900 over this one. This one has a lot of compromise between vintage and modern looks, and I think I'm more either/or in terms of my preferences. And while I like the green part of the paint job, pairing it with white just looks odd to me. Maybe 7/10 for this one.
I get what you’re saying about the modern/retro. I like this one, but I can see why the modern looking motor jars with some people alongside a retro tank and seat. It’s the same with the Yamaha XSR. Triumph have invested wayyyyy more in making the whole of their modern retro bikes look old school but still having modern electronics and whatnot. Hard to beat!

I had a 1980 kz 1000 with a kerker header. Lightning on wheels.
Love it. Chuck the plastic chain guard. Replace with simple aluminum round rail!

A nice 8/10. I love the z900rs, but prefer the original paint job over this. Those exhausts though... mmmmmmm.

Back in the 70s, I always wanted , but hated the weight and went for the triples , 215 dry not bad for a 900.
