I feel like it’s been ages since I’ve seen somebody put out a straight up trick tip, this was cool to see and super clear to follow. History lesson at the end was great too. I was stoked to see the green veneer, I thought you had a graphic on it finally lol

I have always been struggling with and thus avoiding them. The step by step explaination sparked my motivation to finally properly lern them, so big appreciation Chris! Thank you and I also love the nerding out on the origins starting at 8:33! ❤

Such an awesome tutorial and you have amazing style bro. Modern day gleaming the cube. Me and my kid always turn on TH-cam hoping to see a Nigel video of you finally showing off your board and graphic. Hope it's soon! Love how you dialed in that nose and gave it almost a coffin look. So so sick! You and Winkowski are my two favorites. 🙏🖤🛹

    8:30 "Go fakie same way".
There are so many gems in this video. While I can't rock fakie yet, opening up my shoulders for front side turns is definitely something I'm going to practice. Thank you.
As far as repeating tricks, that's a good thing. And is why you were able to pull off that sweet flip-in. Am I right?
PS: Will we ever see the hair match the color of the Fallen gear? The purple was bangin'.

hey great video! i can do these on really small quarterpipes, but can't get one yet on anything 4+ feet tall. i think part of the problem is that a bigger ramp speeds you up so much more as you turn/ride down, that i can't get turned enough in time to be ready for that speed. it feels different when it's steeper too. what do you think the biggest difference in technique is between small and big ramps?

I love your skating and your content. One statement you made toward the end of this one stuck out to me though. to paraphrase...do what makes you happy because that what we're all in this for anyway. it's a small difference but to me it makes a big difference...instead of happiness we should be maximizing for meaning. I won't go on about it because I don't want to be accused of preaching or some shit but I hope that you can make use of the nuance. just my two coppers.

      Millions.
Its the first shaped deck that Powell Peralta will offer that has modern concave and a kick nose.
Santa Cruz and Vision have updated many of their classic shaped decks with a larger kick nose and more modern concave and features.
Many older skaters have been waiting for a shaped Powell Peralta deck with a kick nose for over 35 years.
This is likely why they are spending so much time developing this deck. It will be most important to their business moving forward.

Hundreds of thousands in the first year or so. Honestly once it comes out you’ll see an insane amount of people riding it. I think they’re going to spend over 5 more months till it comes out.
