GTA 3 Definitive Edition - How to complete paramedic missions easy using crusher glitch\damageproof

- This method shows how to damage proof any vehicle including the ambulance. The car crusher glitch still works in the definitive edition but only seems to work with NPCs from missions. I recommend to save before a mission in case you want to ghost proof your car. The missions these are possible on are Luigi's Girls, Bomb Da Base Act ll, Kanbu Bust out, Liberator and Marked Man. To damage proof your vehicle make sure to save it in your garage. Paramedic missions are needed for the "Playing Doctor" trophy as well, an ambulance that is invulnerable is the easiest way to do the paramedic missions if the gangs hate you also, could also use this method on Staunton Island in case Portland is already filled with the Mafia and Triads.
Try entering and exiting the ambulance as soon as it is next to the car crusher to block the driver's seat during a mission. Can take a few tries to get the timing right so found it easier to enter in and out as fast as I can, getting rid of the passenger door helps out. You can also try holding the look back button when you are in the car then get out and then release the button to see if it makes a difference too
You're a life saver. I'm gonna try this once I get to the Kabu Bust Out mission
If you're gonna do that it's better to just use the ambulance in it's "ghost state" since you can drive through walls, lamp posts, and pedestrians, and nobody can shoot you nor take you out of it. When it starts getting buggy just drive into the blue hell and respawn in normal size. Also, take out the doors of it to make pedestrians get inside even faster.
Or just do it like a Chad and do it normally.

@@ENSANElol best tip is to finish it before starting any mission on new game and by moving camera to one side and back fast cars disapier from road so its easier to drive
@@NukEverythingDoes it even work on the Definitive Edition? I tried it and its not working for me. My thought on this is that the current gen consoles have more memory so the remasters have more vehicles and dont disappear like they did in the originals. No cars vanished changing the camera quickly
You able to do ghost state on Xbox/console?
Unfortunately it has been fixed with patch 1.05, to do this you need to have the physical copy of the game and install it without internet connection so that it cannot be updated. Do not get it in digital version because you download it already correct.

Im glad the old glitches still work. You can also use a similar glitch to use any vehicle for paramedic , taxi and police missions

Fyi, storing the ambulance and getting it back out does not mean it keeps its invincibility. It still takes damage. It just doesn't show on the model. I had it blow up on me
I think that just may be the damage from the gangs shooting at you. Same thing happened to me

Won’t work for me unfortunately. I got into the ambulance after the crusher and the ambulance still took damage
This has been patched and the latest update cannot be deleted.. They've fixed the 1 bug that actually was really helpful instead of maybe updating the veichle health so a gust of wind won't blows up cars.. Fuckin clueless people working on this

It has been fixed. Rockstar does not want u beat this mission. However when i try i first beat out all doors so the passengers can get in/out just a second faster. Despite the time givin being way to short, the wobbely ambulance which is uncontrolleble and can take no damage at all, The traffic who seems to purposly do what you dont expect, I made it to level 4 some times,😃 Although it is clear im not supposed to beat this i keep trying and maybe even get to level six one day
You can delete the game and istall it again. Then you are on 1.00. Ofc you need to stop the update. (Definitive Edition)

does not work anymore, but i had a glitch where misty dint get out of the car in time and got stuck inside the crusher lol
I tried this over and over and when I am at the scrap yard when I get out the guy with me gets out and knock me over and gets back in so I can get in on time

I found a method for the ghost car glitch without using mission characters by using the robber NPC but unfortunately they don't seem to try stealing the ambulance so it's not a method for this one
when I do, the passenger gets out of the vehicle and doesn't go
When I do this in Portland I can take just 1 passenger with me in ambulance. Garage is too small to make it damage proof there

It doesn't, it's a glitch not a cheat. You can safely use this.

You have to step forward or their getting out animation will knock you down

Tried this for a hour, same steps every time still no ghost ambulance this may have been patched
Same took forever to get the setup right after I realized I was pressing triangle too many times to get back in the ambulance. Now that I got that part down it's not working for me.
Has this been proven to work on the old PS2 console version? I keep trying and it hasn't worked so far.
I think they fixed it, cus I'm doing the exact same, everything looks the same, animation etc. but is not working. (I'm on patch 1.03, the second patch they released today)

I’m doing it on the mission Bomb da babe act2 and I can’t get it. Every time I get out 8ball knocks me down. He also gets in the ambulance really fast. Any advice??

I'm late but for anyone else you have to start moving as soon as you get out other wise they knock you down

Probably not, you need a passenger sitting in your car, reason why is the animation of pullling someone out of the ambulance takes just enough time for you to get back in the car whilst the magnet is picking up your car, without a passenger you won't be able to get back in time, unless you know a different way of getting a passenger in your ambulance, I don't think it's possible

Can you confirm this still works, cause I tried not using misty but starting a ambulance mission and putting a patient in the passenger seat but can't get it to work. I was wondering if they patched it? Also is misty required cause im way past that mission at 98% complete and my fucking ambulance keeps catching fire and exploding around level 6-7
do the mission on new game so gangs won't attack u and use Camera glitch to make cars vanish from road like moving to side and back - fast

I've tried numerous times and no ambulance ended up indestructible. However I was able to beat the hell out of it and it did seem like it was slower at taking damage but not indestructible and eventually burst into flames and exploded.
U know some help to Police missions the only one i need
I don't know if it still works but when you're close to the criminal, pause and go back to the game and the criminal will get out of the car.
