I think this is genuinely one of my favourite stages from BTS. All of the guys absolutely SHINE. Still get shivers in JKs bridge. Then Jimin in the dance break. As you said, I think Jimmy Fallon is one of the only genuine American Talk Show hosts with BTS and is a genuine fan. As you said, you can picture him listening to their songs (and not just the chart toppers). I think BTS also see this, considering Jimin used him in his solo promotions. Amazing song. Amazing stage. Every time I watch this, I'm in awe of the sound crew and whoever did the audio mix. That space echoes like you wouldn't believe (you could hear it a little in parts), and for them to get it to sound so good and clean is impressive. The guys are amazing, of course, and dancing on marble is difficult (understatement). It's slick and it has no give to it and that is rough on the body, especially when dancing.
The mix is so good that if I didn't know better I'd have just assumed it wasn't live audio, given the space. But then we get to hear the dancers cheering them on and shouting. They did an amazing job balancing the live sound with the track.

This was so EPIC-no words to describe how fantastic it was!!! The behind the scenes clips/vids were also amazing and worth a watch-the practice, their nerves (performing there was scary as it's such a massive place), even Jimmy taking them to various places in NYC-he truly is a major fan! This performance is so iconic! There’s a behind the scenes for it when they were recording it. BTS kept pointing out details they wanted to fix (them being the meticulous kings they are) and you could tell that Jimmy Falling was impressed. Also congratulations to Jimin! His song “Like Crazy” is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! You said in your reaction to it that it was 100% a top charting song and you definitely called it! It's the sweetest darn live, too. In his home - I think that's a first - and without makeup, looking all fresh from a shower. He didn't know what to say at all. It was like he genuinely hadn't considered the possibility he might top the charts. He's so clearly just full of too many feelings to express. It felt so special to be there. I was so excited when this came through. One of my favourite performances ever. When you said you were going to cry I felt my eyes watering!! I tried to make a BTS top 10 song list. They did this late at night and it wasn't an easy venue because the floor was slippy but it was such a great setting for this song. There is a behind the scenes video so you can see them setting up for it. There's just something about the way Tae moves in this but then they all move so well. Only thing missing in this was Tae's thorns on his neck. Props to choreographer, Sienna Lalau who devised this masterpiece at just 19 years old. Jimmy said he was amazed at how hard they were breathing when he hugged them at the end. Why this song didn't win or even be nominated for a Grammy I'll never know. I love how fully you wear your heart on your sleeve, man. When you first started doing BTS reactions I remember how surprised you were that they made you cry - and that you started getting happy when you knew you were about to see a BTS song. I relate. Sometimes you're just expressing my feelings, but with less restraint 😁 I appreciate you. And this is my favorite performance of ON, because we can hear the cheers, and because of the way they hug and fall down after. And Jimmy really loves them and treats them well. "ON" being one of my favorite BTS tracks the performance that comes to mind whenever I hear the song is usually this one. (If not it's Permission to Dance On Stage version because it was the first time they performed it in front of Army) Just something about how grand of scale this is with the setting ect is something I don't feel will every be topped. Covid took away a lot but it also gave us some very unique performances that may not have been possible without having to be creative in how things were filmed/done.
This was all taken at 3 in the morning in New York City ... their energy despite how early this was all done is truly commendable...that's including Jimmy along with the BTS Staff...truly epic, at the end of the performance when Jimin hugged Jimmy from the back Jimmy can recall Jimin's Heartbeat racing...💜💜💜🤟
Crews and performers arrived at the station at 10 p.m. on a Saturday night. The dancers and and marching band practiced in nearby areas. BTS remained hidden until the train station closed at 2 a.m. They had about two hours to work, before the cleaning crews came in at 4 a.m. The station reopened at 5:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

This performance was history making! The first non-American group (I believe) to perform at Grand Central Terminal. And they had to do it at 3 in the morning because that was the only time they would allow them to close this area. 😳 That makes it even more impressive.

Somehow I just found you this last sunday and I have been enjoying going back to your beginning, and watching your love grow. I'm a newer Army than you. My 42 year old daughter turned me on to these guys last summer. One of my first experiences with them was JHope at Lollapalooza, which I got to watch live with my daughter when it was happening, and I was pretty blown away. Besides that, every evening while I was visiting her, she played me a few video's. She lives thousands of miles away from me, and I haven't found any one of my friends here at home who will get into them with me, so watching reactions is my only way of sharing the love with others. I am so deep in to them now that I seem to have to watch something pretty much every day. Anyway, thanks for sharing your journey😊💜

This was done when the trains weren’t running & it was performed between 2-4 in the morning. Jimmy Fallon & his people arranged this & BH brought The Lab in from LA. It is won’t be done again.

there is no Grand Central Station any more it was built for trains to depart from when they were the main forms of mass transportation. the Grand Central Terminal is only for the New York subway system..

This performance was history making! The first non-American group (I believe) to perform at Grand Central Terminal. And they had to do it at 3 in the morning because that was the only time they would allow them to close this area. 😳 That makes it even more impressive.
I love that you have so much joy watching them! I feel the same way. They bring so much light into this world and it is so energetic! I've only become a part of Army a couple of weeks ago. I went down a rabbit hole but I'm glad in a way because there is endless amount of content to watch! LOL

Somehow I just found you this last sunday and I have been enjoying going back to your beginning, and watching your love grow. I'm a newer Army than you. My 42 year old daughter turned me on to these guys last summer. One of my first experiences with them was JHope at Lollapalooza, which I got to watch live with my daughter when it was happening, and I was pretty blown away. Besides that, every evening while I was visiting her, she played me a few video's. She lives thousands of miles away from me, and I haven't found any one of my friends here at home who will get into them with me, so watching reactions is my only way of sharing the love with others. I am so deep in to them now that I seem to have to watch something pretty much every day.

Please also watch Jimmy’s interview with BTS in the subway. They also played games in the subway. And then it finished with performance at Grand Central station. Jimmy Fallon rented the station and they filmed at 3 am. They filmed the performance 3 times. So they were tired.

there is no Grand Central Station any more it was built for trains to depart from when they were the main forms of mass transportation. the Grand Central Terminal is only for the New York subway system..
