Freaking outstanding! I guess I’m one of the 2 or 3 who are interested in the geeky machining stuff. I held out to the end and thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep it up!
I was working on a fixture for CNCing some 1911 grips and I thought…”Hey I wonder if there is anything out there on TH-cam?” Great video. I’m also using Fusion on a Haas Mini Mill 2. In my case, I will engrave them with a fiber laser. I enjoyed the last section for us “geeks”.
I really appreciate a few things you did in this video. Going over the setup, things to watch out for (screws, hold down block). I also really appreciate the cam stuff at the end, projection, extending the tool path off of the part.
OKAY!!!!!! Oh man, YOU the man!! I will cut mine on my Tourmach. I MUST write my own program as the scale is off. Your info is GREATLY appreciated. After I finish mine, I'd love to send some pictures. THANK YOU!!!!!
Thank you! The exact item I had is not longer available on Amazon but this is close. Thanks for the sub! Turns out more than I thought watched to the end. Most of the time when I include the CAM people run for the hills. Thanks for watching.
@@BrowneWorks You are right! I checked out your channel and subscribed. Could you please drop me an email at Lastbastionlabs@gmail.com. I have a customer that I may pass on to you or by a base grip from you and finished it.
Thank you for the kind words and for the Sub. I did the same for your channel. I will enjoy checking it out. I hope you do get a CNC. It will open up an great new world. Let me know if I can help.

LOL I'm glad some one watched it to the end! BTW, I have not forgotten about your grips.

Thanks for sharing the feeds and speeds with us.
Your welcome. There not optimized, but they did work.
watched it all and appreciated the explanation of the surface treatments! TY
I just ordered a Tormach and love the speeds and feeds being mentioned. When you're new you have no idea where to start and what is "normal". TY
Greatly appreciate the speeds and feeds details. Thanks!
Thanks for the feed back. It really helps me.

Thank you. Most people do not watch the CAM. LOL
Such an awesome video, it was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
Very unique grips - they sure stand out on the firearm!
Thank you!

Technical talk is always important. ie feeds and speeds
Informative and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great work ! Thank you for discussing the tools, paths, feeds and speeds. I have a tormach and enjoy this content 👍
Thank you for letting me know. It confuses my family and friends LOL.
Just found your channel, great job explaining everything. Can you share the link to the deburring stones?

Thank you! Hope it works well for you.
Bro those are bad-ass I like the grips you made Ziggy Sigifredo GARCIA 😁 👍👍👍💪💪💪💪
Excellent video. A lot of good tips for me using my Tormach!

You got my sub! Very informative and helpful. And yes I watched the whole thing!

Very nice. Good to see how others do things in F360.
Thank you. I'm not sure I'm doing it the "right way" but that's what I did.
@@LastBastionLabs There are dozens of ways to do the same thing. It's the "right way" if it works for you!

Very beautiful, wonderful, is it possible to send the file to make pistol grips
Very nice work.. maybe someday my small shop will have a cnc to do works of art like that.. subbed your channel 👍

I'm still stuck on trying to find a would-be wife unit who will allow me to buy a Tormach! Nevertheless, thanks for the very informative video!
LOL best of luck and Thanks!
"No wife unit" solves that problem----but creates others.
@@backlash00 It is a very slippery slope
Very nice. Why do you think almost everyone cuts a notch to expose the mainspring housing pin? Will it be easy to modify the CAD to remove that notch?
Not sure how easy that would be in fusion. If you buy the models and cant do it in fusion. I will do and and send it to you.
@@LastBastionLabs I'm going to buy anyway because I think it's damn nice of you to make this available.
@@backlash00 Email me at lastbastionlabs@gmail.com and we can work this out to get you what you need.
