Yeah, Red Revolution is an interesting level. Although back in the day I found it a very hard level to get through. I remember getting my nuke ready and launching it... only for the Kremlin to be able to take the strike. I was pretty much like "GG me" as I pretty much had nothing left afterwards. Then I think my dad or my brother told to set up the Kirovs at the entrances and don't build the nuke until ready. And of course then in future playthroughs, I hardly ever explored the map, I just got my two nukes and won. So yeah it is interesting to actually see the map explored and slogged through like a proper siege :D
This one takes the cake along with the OG Red Revolution for hardest Flipped mission. So hard infact im STILL stuck on it, but with tgSacred's Playthrough maybe i can get some tips and tricks with this one! Edit: I take it back, the NEXT mission is completely harder than this one, hell, with the method in the video shown it was a cake walk. Next missions is a complete chaotic clusterfuck of a mess!
Mission 12 requires a lot of fast decision making, after a few tries, you'll realize you can completely counter paradrops with a SEAL to save your north outpost. Mirage tanks will do the job. Train a ton of rockies on north outpost in anticipation for incoming Kirovs/Siege Chops, while also building Prism Tanks and Chronosphere to control the brown base (the nuke more specifically, since it keeps rebuilding). Yellow will be your first main target, since you need to get rid of oppression from Kirovs/Choppers/nukes, cut it's power, and the con yard, then things should start getting easier. Don't worry too much about orange, since Red hard targets that area with a nuke (for some reason). Other than that, try to have some IFV's/SEALs prepared for paradrops on your main base, while taking care of fortifications with some paradropped GIs. That mission in theory is easier than this one, but you'll need decent defenses prepared for some turtle action, afterwards you can just do Chrono-Prisms-Tanks-On-Base-Go-BRRRR and you'll have Mission Accomplished guaranteed. In my best attempt I didn't even got hit by a nuke once.
13:30 that's probably not a Demolition Truck. It just looks like one, but is actually just a regular truck. This truck, TRUCKA, just provides the Image for the actual Demolition Truck, DTRUCK. They share the exact same voxel/model and will display the exact same icon in sidebar, TRKAICON, if buildable. Why Westwood made two different vehicles look the same I have no idea. TRUCKA used to be the unloaded truck in TibSun, with TRUCKB being the loaded one.
Very interesting and well executed strategy at the beginning, the first time the mass attacks with Kirov from every direction take me by surprise and i cannot hold for long because i started to overspend in Patriot Batteries, delaying to much the Chronosphere incursion against the Soviet superweapons and doing so cannot sustain the grind after awhile. Personally in the second attempt i just started to chrono deploy troops where the initial Nuclear Power Plant were located, massing there Prism Tanks, Battle Fortresses and IFV with Engineer on board, and then i attacked the Red Army first, tanking the rest of the defenders from the rearguard.
NIce longplay and walkthrough! Some suggestions: Tech up fast in the beginning and send a spy in the sovjet war factory close to your base. Afterwards you can capture it and sell. Getting veteran units is key because of scarce ressources. Afterwards, get 9 veteran Prism tanks to the top left corner of the map, just outside the wall of the base where the nuke is. The apocalypse tanks will likely be able to destroy up to 3 prism tanks but the other you can level up destroying that base including the nuke. Afterwards go for the iron curtain. With a little micromanagement and luck you might be able to destroy orange completely. Other tactics for orange: Get prism tanks over the water to the left, either using chronosphere or navy. The first tesla coils have barrels of oil next to it, you can easily destroy them. Afterwards clear out the ridge and orange. You can also access the base with the IC over that ridge, going north.
@@tg.Sacred yeah I would say its optional, as you also managed to whipe out the iron curtain and the nuclear silo using prism tanks + chronosphere and basically from then on it is a matter of time to win this mission. I found it more effective as you can do even more damage with veteran prisms and do not send them on a suicide mission :-) Plus, I am a little like Bryan Vahey, ranking up units in singleplayer is just so much fun.

No, we didn't forget anything. This is part of the allied campaign now. The actual story aspect we used here was that allies invaded Moscow instead of soviets but you are still fighting the soviets i believe here, NOT yuri. So it's after the red revolution in RA2. The Yuri's perspective one in bonus missions is the original mission properly flipped. it just didn't fit in the time line ro story we were going for so we made it allies instead. Since it's also supposed to be the allies campaign.
Deadly Impressive Commander! Of all the TH-camr Gamers I've seen who had done this Operation- you alone were the swiftest and more tactical of them all... Thanks to the Guardian GIs, Battle Fortressess, and your deployment of the Allied Chronosphere and Weather Control Device- the Soviets' Iron Curtain and Nuclear Missiles were thwarted to the point that Yuri Prime wasn't able to deploy his Yuri Clones to save him... Pity though that this Mod denies you access to the Soviet Arsenal unlike in the OGs whenever you've managed to capture them as an Allied Commander... Would have made the mission a bit easier. Just a thought! Anyway good job as always!
Red Revolution Flipped is a double edged sword. The big advantage is you get Allied tech, so Prism Tanks and especially the Chronosphere are Godsends to rip through the bases the hard way. The downside is doing it with Weather Control is more of a slog if the Kirov script still applies (which requires IFVs and Rocketeers to drop vs Apocs of old), you get no Kirovs to help start off your cliff defense and Prism Towers although can link, are slow as fuck.

4:00 you could have the chance to get SOV MCV if you captured that WF .. :/
In Flipped Missions it doesn't provide you the enemy tech.

Err.... Spy and Steal, earlier?
TG, Why do you destroy the fking sov war factory when you could have captured it and made played tower defense!!!!😢
If I recall correctly, in these missions it doesn't provide you anything by capturing the enemy buildings.
It's an easier Red Revolution
