Hey, what were your stats? If you can make a video on it that’d be great if you don’t mind sharing. I’m applying in 2020 and I’m kinda nervous about my stats...
I had about a 3.9 cumulative and 3.8 science when I applied. I had a 22AA, 21TS on the DAT. Leadership, volunteering and shadowing also :) I talk a little about what I’m involved in extracurricular wise in my “What I Wish I Knew As A Pre-Dental Student” video if you want more numbers and examples.

You were doing biochemistry, what made you change?
As a major or as a career? I started college as a biology major and graduated with that! I have been pre-dental since high school so this was my intended path! I have some “why dentistry” videos on my channel.

Also, what did you do after undergrad gap year ?
I did not take a gap year. I applied between my 3rd and 4th of undergrad and am graduating in May when Dental School will start in June.
@@HaleySchultz Did you take Human antomy Biochem and those extra courses or just the general required ones? Also, what we do if we cant get in right after undergrad?
Yes. Biochem was required for the dental schools I applied to and anatomy was for some also. I did take extra science classes like genetics, microbiology, pharmacology, immunology etc.
If you are not accepted you can re-apply the next cycle! Spend the time between working to improve your application. Hopefully you can work in a dental office.
@@HaleySchultz how do you do that in four years? cuz for my major there re soo many classes to take and that takes another year after the four
My major is Human Biology so those classes are included in my major requirements!
