I had heard they had changed the power and torque setting in the factory because it’s the same motor they use in the hilux..as well as the power to wait ratio in the Prado it would out do the hilux and it might turn people off buying a hilux
GVM is the only thing im concerned about time you got all the accessory's on it passengers and gear loaded up your spent.
How do you find it?

Waste of space makes it hard to change a tire if you need to it’s back on now as the vehicle is for sale

Hey Anthony, where did u buy the sidesteps for the gx? I am in the lookout for one as well.
I’ve got the same tires but no lift and no roof rack. The tires account for maybe 0.5 L/100km. The major contributor is going to be aerodynamics with your setup.
I’ve done the testing with the same vehicle swapping tires it’s about a liter for 100 K’s fact.
We don’t have any aerodynamics problems no Bullbar there’s nothing to fix aerodynamics much at all
whats your tire specs? is there gonna be issue if i just replace my tires like yours without lift? thanks

Mine pushes 13.4L at best lol. Pos engine and I’ll be buying a lockup kit ASAP.

Worsen. Lifting the centre of gravity is not a good thing.

re: Torque convetor lock up.. I have the same issue, rarely locks in 5th or 6th.. Would a lockup kit fix the issue?
