As a crafter myself there are often moments in your videos where I pause, and look at the screen with my head tilted like a dog looking at a TV. In my head I'm going "Now why in the world would you do that?" and then I restart the video and see why, and have the momentary flash of "OHHH, THAT'S WHY!" I love those moments, and this video was full of them! Thank you for another wonderful video, Erin!
I LOVE THIS!!! Thank you so much!! It's so funny how important the order of operations and seemingly small choices with these flies makes a huge difference!
I usually don't like background noise like the kind you include in your videos, but for some reason the audios on these wonderful videos are so so relaxing to me! I love watching you work. Thank you for keeping up with what i assume can be a daunting task. Without you, i know my days would be a little bit dimmer.
Please make a video like this but you’re explaining the steps in whispered voiceover just like in the intro. I live for the whispering at the beginning
Great video, good techniques. It would help tyers if you showed proportions such as: length of the zonker strip, length of the Congo hair, etc. I enjoy watching and tying along. Also, I tied mine in black and purple. Thanks.
This one was great as usual! I personally prefer your videos without the whispering throughout - I know many people enjoy that part of ASMR but one of the reasons I love your videos actually is because they don’t include the whispering. I see a lot of people saying they do want it though, and I love your videos and will watch them regardless. Whatever gets you more views haha. I just might mute those ones. Love your content so much!!!!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I know that the whispering is a polarizing component, but we'll be sure to vary so hopefully there's something for everyone!! Really appreciate you watching! :)
There is some sort of recurring electronic chirp in the background of some of your videos and I find myself anticipating it and it is disconcerting. I love the videos so please don’t think I’m being critical, just point it out. I have subscribed! Thanks
Thanks so much for mentioning! Sometimes the thread catches on the hook and makes a 'chirp' sound. I listened and didn't hear anything other than that, but please let me know if you hear it in future videos so we can fix it! :)
The movement in the test tank! WOW!
Right?! Thank you!! The zonker is so ethereal in the water!!

What wonderful comment to open TH-cam to! I'm so glad that you're enjoying these and they're bringing you some peace!

Definitely in our queue to do a video with more whispering/soft spoken narration :)
Your videos are always so soft and gentle that seeing the barb on the hook always kinda jumpscares me 🤣.
That's interesting! I never really considered the dichotomy there!
Yours is quickly becoming one of my favourite channels! Great work!
Really appreciate that! Let me know if you have any flies you'd like to see tied!
AMAZING!
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful tie, you are so perfectly precise yet make it look so easy, I can only wish to tie like that,❤ your vids
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Young lady, you just keep getting better and better! That is a very beautiful fly. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so so much, David! I look forward to your comments every week!
Very nice
Thank you so much!
wait..no "boink" on the hook in the beginning?? lols
LOL!! !I KNOW! I totally forgot this time and Alex had to tell me!
I share your videos on Facebook too !!!! Love your content ❤
Thank you so so much!! :)
WOW. Just WOW😱 I tie my own flyes, But nothing like this🙌🙌
Glad you enjoyed! What types of flies do you tie?
@@shetiesfliesmainly flies for sea trout. Shrimp flyes, zonker flyes, much easyer flyes than you make🤣
Your whispering is great and I would like to hear more of it. You don’t lip smack - which I despise!
Thank you! I may do a series with more than the typical beginning whisper for those that enjoy it :)

Black and purple is a tarpon staple! I'm sure it'll perform awesome! I love your suggestion with regard to proportions - thank you!
Getting the rabbit fur in the dubbing clamp is a pain just as you get it nearly right a bit comes out and its like 🙇🏼
100% agree!!
