Dear Ryan, I started my krya yoga practice 6 years ago and I'm glad that you confirm mostly of the things I have learnt here in Italy. I found you a great guide to my inner knoledge...and I hope one day I'll come to Italy and I will have a chanche to meet you. Compliments, God is with you, I can see purity in your eyes
thx
Hello Mr. Ryan,
My meditation practices have been on & off until my SadeSati period. Already things were crushing in my life and "being scared" became my initial motivation to begin meditating for the honor of Lord Saturn. After I watched/listened to your SadeSati documentaries, I made a vow to Lord Saturn and it all began. Friends and family, and things in life tried so hard to break my practice and rituals, but I noticed that since this vow became a part of my life and especially after I surrendered to having this in my life, obstacles kind of disappeared. Couple of weeks ago I was telling my sister that this practice came into my life because of the feeling "fear", but now this is beyond that. I am grateful that I have this in my life. As you say in the beginning there may be no reason but even if there is some reason, after the practice becomes part of ones life then there is no reason, there is only this meditative state and being content with every reason.
I would like to thank you very much.
If you hadn't had your worries in the beginning perhaps you wouldn't practice to discharge those feelings and who knows you wouldn't be you.
Thank you for being you. 😇💫
It's true, all our quirks and idiosyncrosies make us who our personality is.
Ryan, I came across this video while looking for videos regarding Kriya yoga as I often do. I am not a follower of yours but I figured I’d check it out. I am initiated into Kriya and it has changed my life. I couldn’t watch anymore after 5:29 when you referred to some people as “crazies”. We shouldn’t judge each other because we are all one. People may have mental health issues, physical ailments or something that makes them challenged but they are no less than anyone else. Kriya yoga teaches us to love. Please look into your heart because part of self-realization is being a beautiful soul who honors the place in others where the whole universe resides. A place of love, light , of peace and of truth. I’m sure you didn’t mean to be disrespectful since you are on the path but sometimes we forget that words can hurt. I hope your journey continues with much manifestation and prosperity. Namaste
!
I have just discovered this channel, and 9 months or so into trying to find a sensible path into meditation your honest approach has been perfect for me. This contentment talk made so much sense. Being grateful for what we have rather than harping on about what we want. Also, from my own experience, I suffered a lot of loss etc as an adolescent, and I worried a lot, but on a day to day basis things turned out ok. So humanly, I linked the worry to the ok. If you worry things will be ok. Not a good route to go! It took me 40 odd years to realise this-maybe of use to some other searchers out there.
indeed
I love your videos. I am not yet taking time to meditate besides my moving meditation of Bikram yoga for 90 minutes a day. You really resonate with me.
Now's the time to start releasing attachment to the body, and going within. At least we know you have the discipline for that now.
Thank you Ryan, I find this talk fascinating. You discuss in a well developed manner. Contentment is a reall issue for many. The actor Kevin Spacey hates the idea of being content because. he says, he needs to be hungry as an actor and never content, so he thinks it's a form of death! Lol. This has been one of the main issues for me in life before but changed when I had a mystical union experience followed by the unexpected cloud of light. I came to know contentment during union. However there is still this hunger inside me after it that wishes to help illucidate truth in the world so full of BS. So others reading this can know, contentment is all encompassing in union. It really is. All is well with God and you drop ALL your "cares" knowing there is nothing to worry about no matter what happens physically. I am still not religious so to speak but am looking for a practice in life which was not there before, so I'm going through others' videos to see what I can do, post union, that's most useful for myself and others. Kriya Yog seems to be a focus but then even though I've connected with the absolute I am still having to "do" things in the material world that has nothing to do with divinity. It would be very interesting to have a chat with you sometime if you were OK with that. Up to you. I'm going to read your book. Many thanks again for your very useful videos.
If everything is God, how can anything not have something to do with divinity? ; )
Nice question! How come you ask this question though? There is nothing in my statement that prompts it as far as I can tell.
All is God, but there is physical and consciousness as Shakti and Shiva in an eternal dance that allows the one and only to know itself.
Physical, even though it comes from God, is not God as the "isness." It's an expression that is dual while the originator is singular. Hence the physical world is an illusion created for one purpose. To know God, the true self.
Does this satisfy you? I could go on all day. I'm curious as to why you have asked me this question?
Because you said in your original post, " Kriya Yog seems to be a focus but then even though I've connected with
the absolute I am still having to "do" things in the material world that
has nothing to do with divinity."
I see your point now. I was referring to having to relate with others at a level appropriate only for a working day most of the time.
Yes, and once you realize the divinity in that... you'll see what I'm getting at. ; )
Thank you Ryan! This is another great video and perfect for the ending of the series. I guess we will try to practice contentment about you not making Kriya Yoga videos for a while. :)
Thanks again for all your help, support, guidance and wisdom!
Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Holidays and a New Year!
Well wishes to you too. There are over 200 videos on this channel, and there is nothing I wouldn't repeat with more videos, so go back to the beginning and listen again!

Ryan, you are helping me get there. Read AY but seeing someone practice at least on a video helps. Still get angry too easily but working on it daily.
We all have our little quirks to work out. Just keep moving forward.
The more you are aware of your own self during anger the faster it goes, but remember to feel the awareness of yourself during the whole day, this practice with meditation bring you to contentment ;)
Great commentary brother! Your doing great!
welcome
Great Job!! I have been watching your Videos for almost an year now and these 21 parts are of great value. Not to compare, but unlike others you are talking direct to the point and it connects and makes perfect sense to me. I watched many of the videos on this series again and again.
When you are back, if you get time, I would like to know if you have explored thinking on below lines.
1. psychedelics and non duality. There are people working thorough this domain, I understand you are taking a specific path, but I would like to know your thoughts on this .
2. Pain or suffering and non duality. In many of these paths, Pain and suffering are taken as one of the catalyst to reach the focus. When I say pain and suffering, I mean the difficulties on the yoga path, like less food ( or no food), or putting one in to physical pain etc. Even in Kriya, we are forcing ourselves in to this for a large extend and at one point we start to like it. (understand we can not go to discos every day and get where we need to :) - but do you see my point and a link with pain and suffering to non duality experience ? Let us know your thoughts.
Thank you and you are doing a great job. Please keeping doing this great work and enjoy .
Psychedelics are great for entertainment if they work that way for you. No one using them for spiritual purposes will find they give permanent results, and usually the opposite. Although they can be fun.
Our current state of humanity is heavily influenced by energetics similar to that which drove christianity, which includes a lot of need for guilt and punishing one's self for being alive. You probably have enough inner pain to deal with and dealing with sickness, social problems and deaths of loved ones, that you don't need to hurt yourself anymore. Life is hard enough without having to make it worse for your self. Get the presence process by Michael Brown. Deal with that and then move on from there.
Whoa here....Our only purpose on this Soul school, earth, far as I know, is to know, and relax/melt into our Source - God,.the Infinite is at the core of our consciousness and is the Light which animates all there is. Yogananda called it Christ consciousness, cosmic consciousness, the Beloved, Source.. The Infinite is the power of life which already breathes us and flows and spirals throughout all creation - form and formless. There is nothing but this! This breath can ignite the heart and allow you to enter into the Kingdom...and silence is the threshold of the Kingdom of heaven within. Namaste and blessings to all....
ok
divine brother ,it would be more benificial if you will upload your videos also with hindi subtitles for Indian learners.
thx
A lot of life´s goals are accomplished by first making the decision firmly to seek after the goal and then...fake it until you make it.
If you live and die seeking God or Self-Realization; with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul and still don´t achieve that final liberation prior to death, you might feel as if you lost the battle but trust me. You won the war.
exactly
Howdy Ryan. I was just wondering a few things. Not sure if its appropriate to ask but after all your years of practice have you become self realized/ enlightened yet? Also I was wondering if one becomes enlightened is it true that they don't have to practice meditation anymore? as I have heard of this multiple times that when a person becomes self realized they no longer need to practice as the aspirant does. Lastly if you are an enlightened Guru can you send me your positive energies / prayers to help me overcome the challenges in my life right now and to help me become enlightened. Thanks and God bless.
I would read the book Vasistha's Yoga and study it thoroughly for these answers.
I will Ryan. thank you
I just found your channel. I'm looking for a guide to Kriya practices, a daily practice or set of practice principles. Here, you're covering the methods/theory, which I do dig, but do you know of a good source for some beginner kriya techniques for intermediate yogi/meditators?
Yes, see the beginner's guide playlist and watch the preliminary practices, or see the book An Essential Guide to Kriya Yoga Practice.
Now that your energies are more focused, so to say, can you use them to manifest something physical, like heal your cut or wounds quicker, for example, by re-directing your awareness to the point?
who knows
We have bastardized the word “content” to mean, to settle. While it’s a longer lasting, quiet, happiness.
Thank you.
I have few doubts and need to discuss few things which iam not understanding
Keep contemplating it will reveal itself
Will kriya yoga help to manifest or predict the future...?
No. That is not its purpose.
2 YEARS INTO MY PRACTICE, AFTER VIPASSANA CAME A KUNDALINI MEDITATION WORKSHOP.THE SHAKTI TRANSMISSION FROM THE INDIAN KUNDALINI MASTER BORN FRUIT 3 DAYS LATER.HE TOLD US TO CONCENTRATE ON THE 3rd EYE DURING MEDITATION.I THEN LITERALLY SAW MY 3rd EYE OPEN.FIRST CAME A LOUD TONE LIKE A CHIME, THEN LIKE A CAMERA LENS OPEN,S ON A OLD SCHOOL CAMERA, I HAD/SAW A TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE.THE NEXT NIGHT I EXPERIENCED WHAT I LATER WAS TOLD IS CALLED, SUCKING THE NECTAR. WHEN THE SEMINAL FLUID MOVES UPWARD, MERGES WITH THE PINEAL GLANDS HORMONAL OUTPUT, FLOODS THE BRAIN & NOW IS AMIRT, THE NECTAR OF THE GODS, DRIPPING FROM MY PALLET ONTO MY TONGUE. IT WAS SWEET. NEXT DAY WHEN I WOKE UP MY BODY FELT LIKE IT WAS SCRUBBED CLEAN FROM THE INSIDE.
I AM A SKEPTIC BY NATURE, BUT WHEN I HAD THESE EXPERIENCES IN 1992.IT SOLIDIFIED MY FAITH IN THE HINDU METAPHYSICAL PARADIGM, & LIT A FIRE IN MY MIND TO CONTINUE MY MEDITATION,BELIEVING THAT THE BLISS CONSCIOUSNESS THAT IS TAUGHT BY BEINGS LIKE P. YOGANANDA, GOPI KRISHNA, NEEM KAROLI BABA, MY GURU, & SRI RAMAKRISHNA,IS A REALITY.
ok
ryan, have u ever explore kundalini awakening?
do u have any experience of such kind?
I avoid such things.
Ryan Kurczak thanks for replying.
do u mind telling me why do u avoid it?
does these things helps in spiritual process?how it is different from kriya yogas?wat could be the impact of awakening?
They are distractions. No different than any other fantastic thing you can perceive either internaly or externally.
Thank u so much
Of course. Thanks for listening.
why is this the final video in your series. why dont you talk about some metaphysical demonstrative effects of meditation?
You'll see those after much practice. Then you'll have the experience
Is a self-realized person infallible?
Depends on who you ask. Anyone who's ever claimed to be self-realized or has been said to be self-realized has always had somebody finding fault with them.
Sir how can I contact you?

Sharing my opinion. To me these meditation techniques like pranayama, raja yoga, kriya yoga are really the different names given thousands of years ago to inculcate the practice of thinking. This practice of thinking can be applied for resolving personal problem, solving mathematical riddles, searching scientific truth or what this universe is all about. But the spiritual meditation (as we call it by this name) we are talking about makes one think beyond this, like trying to understand and realize the grand designer of all that exists, and what is the reason for all such existence. Is this existence all meaningless or any purpose behind this?
In this context, there are two kinds of people - one who leads the whole life without questioning much beyond the belief, dogma, religion, rituals, and so on which are already there, and the one who is not satisfied but wants to question to not only understand but realize that there is something which our mind is yet to comprehend like realizing the grand designer itself (or himself/herself). To the second kind of person, without the truth he/she feels like a prisoner in one’s mind, and he/she knows that the life is passing by.
So, meditation or this thinking practice to know beyond our normal experience is something that cannot be forced on but should come automatically provided you have the right mindset. Our mind itself has many limitations - like we cannot create or feel thoughts without attaching words, cannot comprehend infinity, cannot go beyond the three dimensional space, and so on. May be our mind has not yet evolved to that extend to go beyond a certain level or we are not simply not supposed to realize the creator (or whatever you call). So, the mind asks do such limitations prohibit us from seeking the truth or is there any way out.
So, our spiritual meditation is to use a quiet mind (without the noise that gets stored inside it) and let it wander without the influence of any books, existing logic, dissertation of any kind, and try to search for the truth before mind stops working. He or she seeks for the truth for he must and not for attaining any kind of absolute bliss or peace.
Sounds like you think too much. ; )
:)
Ryan, you look a bit like the young Meher Baba when your hair is down.
Frank Zappa is more my style.
Big fan - Dweezil too!
