    Thank you ! Only when I have made peace with " my" pain I could move forward! It's part of my experience same as every thing else! It still hurts when I go there and probably it will hurt as long as I could feel this body but is peace that comes with it as well and a deep understanding of a bigger picture from which I am just a pice of the puzzle ! When you see a bigger picture you realise that is nothing to forgive and you move on !

    Thank you for the great advice. I started my spiritual path as a way for answers and relief about a little more than a year ago, but now my focused has been shifted to just embracing things with peace. I'm happy that you talked about stopping the practice for a while because I am in my last year of college as an undergrad and it seems that my time to sit down has interestingly become limited. I still do things mentally by listening to chants on my way to class and have picked up ''Autobiography of a Yogi'', and I have noticed my myself still feeling enlightened and not worrying so much.

    It may not be an ideal practice, but I’ve learned to accept and appreciate what my meditation experiences look like. Sometimes I just cry, but when I do, I do om japa into my heart chakra and regulate my nervous system. I pour my heart out to God and guru unabashedly. Tears in meditation used to bother me a lot. Now, I reframe it and consider it to be commendable growth that I can work through it. Sometimes being still is the hardest thing in the world to do, but only in sitting in that pain have I found the love I need.

    Excellent talk Ryan. This is exactly what needed to here right now. I also think that being more in nature is very healing. Thank you!

    Thank you Ryan, that was helpful and insightful...now I understand some of the reason why I would get these bursts of anger/hurt that surface out of nowhere when doing all the spiritual practices I know how to do. I sort of thought that well, it's pain, it's hurt, it's anger and it needs to make it 's way out of my body...and you have to feel it to heal it...but this was a nice confirmation for me.

    God is God whether good or bad is happening. While not quite the same idea it reminds me of Daniel 3:17 in the Old Testament. S, M & A are so committed to God that they tell King N they won’t bow even if thrown into the fiery furnace. If that’s not powerful enough here’s the amazing part . . . In response to King N asking ( likely as a sarcastic unbeliever ) if their god will save them, they reply their God could and is able to save them. But whether He chooses to do so is irrelevant to their commitment to serve Him.
    Faith is even more powerful when not based on expecting anything. If you expect something and don’t get it your faith maybe shaken.
    Namaste 🙏

    Hi Ryan, thank you for your video. Have you already talked about forgiveness? How one can forgive oneself for the past or forgive others?

    • @KriyaYogaOnline
      @KriyaYogaOnline  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The need for forgiveness utilizes the exact same principles as dealing with past pain. If that doesn't help enough, there is a chapter in my book A Course in Tranquility that speaks specifically to this.

      +Ryan Kurczak it is interesting how I was having dinner last night and I looked up at my book shelve and saw your book. I flipped it open and realized I had left a bookmark on chapter 9 on forgiveness. Of course, it was dusty from me not touching it for a long time.

    Sometimes you say things so pertinent to me I almost feel offended, like I'm being called out. I don't know if I should blame it on my ego or something else, or if I should be blaming at all but yeah

      Blame it on whatever you want. Blame is all the same.

    I thought Kriya meant cleansing. Like shadow work. From what you are saying Kriya isn't cleansing in that manner? From your perspective, what is Kriya actually cleansing?
