- In this video I will compare the Makita 18v XBU03Z leaf blower and Ridgid 18v R01601B leaf Blower.

I would go with the Ridgid, regardless of the outcome. I’m already on the Ridgid platform, and the blower is often offered as a “free tool” when Home Depot runs the hacks.
I would go with Rigid too if I was in your shoes. I definitely don't think one of these is better than the other to the point where you should switch platforms just to get it.
@@tgltoday2717 Right now, I have a Ryobi hybrid blower that someone gave me. It's not very powerful, but it can be used corded or cordless. I'll just keep using it until it breaks. I don't actually mind the brushed Ryobi OPE, especially for the price. I have a small yard, and only use OPE a few times a year.
@@DiligentDave1966 I've seen some of the Ryobi and even Ridigids other blower and they really are not very good other then blowing grass clippings off sidewalks. That is why this new Ridgid excited me to see how well it did. I know the Makita blower works really well. Makita OPE is actually pretty good. There tools may not be the best anymore but there OPE sure works good. I have two of their chainsaws and a week eater all 18v and those chainsaws have cut a lot of wood.
your MiIwaukee video Why is no one talking about this. Can you be more specific about the item other than "take your cabinet off the wall " I am having trouble finding that particular box. Thank you !

You're welcome. This was my best attempt at a bottom rolling box that's a big drawer. It's a little pricier this route and I have come to realize a few things about the dolly that suck lol the wheel placement is not great. Thanks for watching.
like the video, thanks for trying this experiment so we can see and buy our favorite one. I think makita still more powerfull than the turbo ridgid. Just my opinion.👍.
You're welcome and I'm glad you liked it. It's really hard to say, but I'm totally satisfied with Makita and I would buy the Makita over the Ridgid all over again. I think Makita is one of the best 18-volt blowers you can buy from what I've seen and the few I've tested.
The Makita will still be running long after the Ridgid is in a landfill.

@@tgltoday2717 My comment was just a general statement. I have no brand loyalty and working in construction, have used all the brands. Makita, IME, is a brand that is built to last. I believe it is the reason why most rental tools at Home Depot are in fact Makita. With that said, I have a background in plumbing so I have also been around some rugged Ridgid power tools like their long standing 300 and 535 pipe machines. What beasts those things are.
@@tyronevonchadley Ahh gotcha. I may seem a little biased towards Makita but its only on the tools they make that I really think are great. I currently have 4 tool battery platforms for a reason. Although don't tell the Milwaukee guys that lol I found they get very offended when you have more then one brand especially if one of them isn't red lol
The rigid has an amazing warrenty. The Mikita will break and the company doesn’t back up their product. You sir are wrong

I agree. I think it is better. I like that it's quieter. It does seem like it has a little more power and the runtime is better. The only thing I wish is that instead of having a regular mode and a turbo mode, they just had turbo mode be regular mode. It's a variable speed trigger. You can just control how much power you get.

Makita wins more responsive
I like the Makita more as well. Good thing that one's mine lol I've had it for. I'm not really sure 3 or 4 years now and I haven't had any issues with it. I use it quite a bit in the summertime and even a little in the winter.
