Pitching Literary Agents at My First Writer’s Conference

In this video I am recapping my first experience at a writer’s conference, sharing some of the information I learned, plus tips and tricks on how to get past your insecurities to get the most out of your first conference. Pitching to literary agents was one of the scariest things I’ve done thus far in my writing career, but I am so happy that I did. Hopefully this video encourages other writers who are on the fence to take the plunge and try out a writing conference.

Sounds like an incredible experience! I've never been to a writing conference and I think my anxiety probably wouldn't let me go lol, but it does sound fun and like a great learning experience. This is great!! :) New subscriber here! I love going to events & conferences, so I was glad to see this video-- I sometimes make vlogs for events I go to, but we definitely need more videos about that! Writer's conferences can be so fun and so intimidating at the same time. I love networking since it's fun to make new writer friends... but a lot of that happens on authortube in a much more casual way as well :)
