Rare is the occasion when a veteran is provided an adequate C&P exam. C&P examiners often are prejudicial against veterans and the raters are quick to deny.
I applied for ptsd disability, i was denied. I appealed the decision and i am being scheduled for a ptsd exam. They did not deny that i suffer from ptsd, but i have to prove that it is service connected. i don't understand why i get an exam now, but was denied months earlier. If you have an idea please let me know. I and other vets appreciate that you really care thank you.
Thank you for your question John. I would not be able to definitively answer your question. But, they may conducting the exam now to find out how the PTSD is service connected. I hope this was helpful.
I just came out of my migraine direct connection and lower back increase C&P exam and I feel that the exam was bad. The examiner seemed nice attitude wise but didn't ask me about how the headaches affect my job or my social activities. He was quiet most of the time while wearing airpods reading off of his laptop saying there's a lot of paperwork, not even typing (from what I could see) and didn't write much even on his notepad even though I told him about the frequency, the work impact to me, how I deal with them, and the social impact. I don't believe he went through the DBQ. He asked if the VA has my records, and I said yes they have what they can get from VA visits and from my private doctor. Apparently this was good enough for him not to take notes. Then out of nowhere he gets up and he says to me, "yeah I'll make sure that I get you service connected for your migraines". To me I'm like so is he just going to make stuff up because it's not up to him it's up to the VA going off of what he says? I asked him do you need any more information because there was more I felt I needed/wanted to tell him and he said no I have everything I need for your back and headaches. I'm currently at 91% disabled but this bad C&P exam could cost me a 100% rating which I feel I deserve. Should I report this or wait to see what VA's decision is before having to go through the appeal process?
I understand to maintain your normal behavior. I don't understand the appearance that the examiner judges you by because when you're about to retire and are still in the military going to a C&P exam, you still have to maintain the standards and discipline with regard to appearance. Hopefully, examiners understand that.
I'm 100% P&T . I'm receiving steroidal injections in my lower spine, to help manage pain. Will this put my benefits at risk if this allows me to walk without my cane?
Question: I have a exam pending for PTSD, if I get a friend to write a buddy statement, that statement has to be signed in front of a NOTARY since it's not on the VA form right???
I have a C&P this Friday via teleconference from my laptop. I live next to a national forest with horrible cell or wifi service. I'm afraid and stressed I'll be disconnected from the call.
I understand that of you have been granted for TDIU for at least 20 years or have attained the age of 70, TDIU will be deemed to be Total and Permanent, Is that in fact true ?? I have a case pending with the RO that was remanded by the BVA. If you have a case pending, does that stop you from starting a Brand NEW CLAIM ?
They are all litigators for the VA and will only get further contracts for work if they can produce the findings to justify reducing expenses on a claim or shutting it down altogether. The VA and OWCP both actively shop around for denial diagnosis experts and will know exactly who to send you to. Make sure your attorneys research the doctor and amounts collected from VA before going in.
@@eQuariuz VA Insiders are not lawyers and have openly disclosed this. They neatly package publicly available information on their site (similar to H&P) with a infomerical appeal. Their doctors are not looked up well among VA raters and you will likely have to get -rechecked out by VA doctors anyway (thus wasting your time and $ on their kickbacks). After signing contract you pay back 6x difference in backpay. I standby my statement their business model prey's upon veterans.

ask for a new exam if the examiner is an asshole
