just found this video. have been looking into getting some PXG irons. im around an 18-20handicap. the biggest hurdle ive been considering are the shafts. my current set is the 95g elevate. they arent bad shafts, but i just feel the 110g could be better. where i live, there is no fitting store to truely test shafts out. great video though. informative and entertaining. keep up the great work
@@ScratchAt50 very nice, I have the Gen 2s and so far they are the best irons I have ever played. Apart from the combo set situation have you noticed much difference between the Gen 3 and gen2s, I. E similar distance and forgiveness?
@@stephenv5521 can't honestly say that the Gen 3s in the t version are any better than gen 2s...both great. Have noticed a big difference in forgiveness though in the 5,6 & 7 in the 0311p which is mainly why I have changed
@@stephenv5521 I’ll be ordering the gen 3 xp’s next week. Went for a fitting and got fit to the xp’s but they were looking at the gen 4. They were a bit pricey for my liking
Hi For me yes but one of the main reasons for that is that I have that more forgiveness in the 5,6 & 7 irons in the 0311P. The feel through strike in both sets are wonderful, Gen 3 slightly better and one of the reasons I'm such a big fan of PXG irons
Going on year 3 with my Gen3 0311 P’s. Haven’t fond a good reason to switch out. Love them!
My sentiments entirely.
The New Gen 6 0317T are the closest I have tested, they are also amazing feel off the clubhead

Yes I was lucky in the fact that the Shafts I like were available to order as standard..
The P version I have in the longer irons are very forgiving
That “Christmas Morning” feeling when you put your new irons in your hands………
Can't beat it 💥💪
Love my Gen 3 XP’s…best irons made by PXG imho
I totally agree, on my 3rd set now
Are the Gen 3 P's any softer than the Gen 2 P's ? thanks,
Hi Leslie, Yes I believe the Gen 3s are the best feeling generation of them all up to Gen 6.
I thought you had gen 1 irons before not gen 2 is this your 3rd set I. E you have had all 3?
I'm going through the generations but don't expect 4 anytime soon.. #3rdset

@@ScratchAt50 sounds like a good move, I play the P 4-pw in the Gen 2s. Just so tempted now tye gen 3 are a reasonable price on the pxg website.
